Chapter 29 - Closing the distance

Sai: Aap chaabi ke bina, gaadi kaise chalayega?

(How would you drive without a key?)

He looked at her confused and showed her the keys.

Virat: Chaabi hai mere paas.

(I have the key)

As he showed her the keys, she snatched it from his hand, and ran from there with it.

Sai: Ab nahi hai (She said proudly)

(Now you don't)

Virat: Sai. Kya kar rahi hai? Do mujhe (He said agitated)

(Sai. What are you doing? give me the key)

Sai: Nahi. Aur aapko kis baat ka gussa hai?

(No. And what are you angry about?)

Virat: Main gusse mein nahi hun (He denied)

(I'm not angry)

Sai rolled her eyes at his lie

She tried to think of why he got angry. The last thing she remembered before he decided to leave, was her talking to Ajay.

Sai: Aap Ajay ko lekar naraaz ho?

(Are you angry about Ajay?)

Virat got annoyed hearing about him. He kept moving towards Sai and she kept moving away from him.

Virat: Nahi

(No)

Sai: Aap jhoot bol rahe hai

(you are lying)

Virat: Mujhe chaabi do Sai (He said as he tried to get it)

(Give me the key Sai)

Sai: Nahi.

(No)

Virat lunged towards her and she moved away. They ran around the apartment with Virat trying to catch her. At some point he grabbed her and pulled her towards him, with his hand holding her hand behind her back. 

Sai became aware of their position and proximity, and her heart started to race, but Virat was focused on getting the key from her hand. He got a hold of the key and started to take it out of her hand, and Sai realized, coming back to her senses. She thought quickly of what to do. 

Sai: Ouch (She cried out sounding like she was in pain)

Virat immediately stopped and got concerned. He moved away from her, letting go of her hand.

Virat: Tum theek ho? Kya hua?

(Are You ok? What happened?)

Sai made a sad face as she stepped back slowly.

Then it turned into a mischievous smile

Sai: Kuch nahi (She said happily before running off)

(Nothing)

Virat realized that she tricked him and ran after her. She ran into the bedroom and tried to close the door, but couldn't because Virat was pushing against it. Soon he got into the room and Sai looked around, feeling trapped.

Sai (In her mind): Ab kya karun main?

(what do I do now?)

Virat: Tum kahin nahi ja sakti. Chaabi dedo mujhe

(You can't go anywhere. give me the key)

Sai thought about it and then ran, jumping on the bed. But Virat ran after her, grabbing her, and sending them both crashing down onto the bed. Virat landed on top of her.
