As their classes went by and time was ticking, the day became even gloomier than before. Looking up at the sky, one could only see heavy dark clouds. A slight cold breeze followed through the air and rumbles from the sky echoed like a soft timpani rolling. The leaves rustled in the wind and some even fell to the ground after being taken away by the wind. The soft crunch leaves made as soon as they touched the hard pavement, while others lightly rested on top of the green grass of the quad. It looked as if a storm was going to blow the whole school away with an eeriness.
Looking at the window of the office, Twilight still sat in the office chair. It has been awhile, but she was preoccupied with using her phone and then later reading from a huge book. The book itself was intimidating to even look at. It was a dark leather book with engravings on the front. Those engravings include those of a skull and of a dagger that was wrapped around some sort of serpent. This was not your typical library book. She claimed that it was a "book of spells" and a book of things that normal people wouldn't really like to read. She would sometimes even say those spells aloud in hopes that it would work on someone. Unfortunately, for her case, they never worked on anybody.
The office secretary kept a close eye on Twilight the whole time she was there. The hours ticked away and it was getting closer for the last period of the day. She had sat in the office all day and even though she was in trouble, she didn't mind. The principal even gave up on her as well. He simply told her to not continue disrupting her class. To him, she was a lost cause and to everyone else, she was their terrifying nightmare.
Twilight turned a page in her big book and looked at the page bankly. This was a way she processes things, although it seemed like she was staring at the pages demonically. "That would be an interesting spell to use," Twilight inferred to herself quietly.
Those words sent a chill inside of the office secretary's frail body. She took a quick glance at Twilight, then continued doing her work.
Finishing up their physics experiment, Lime, Lavender, and Citrus took a short break from collecting data and started working on their physics conclusion or rather their purpose for the experiment they were working on.
"Alright, Lavender, do you have the calculations for the last trial?" Lime asked her.
"Yep, just writing it down, you guys can copy it in your assignment in a second," she replied back, quickly writing in her notebook.
"Great!" Lime said with a smile.
Citrus wandered her eyes throughout the classroom. She was specifically drawn to the class pet in the classroom. She stared in amazement at the class Chinchilla. The fuzzy coat, the big eyes, and the little whiskers captivated her. "Aw, it's so cute, it looks like a cute furry stone," she said with her big brown eyes wide in admiration.
"Huh? Who?" Lime asked.
"I think she's talking about the class pet," Lavender chuckled.
"Oh."
"Yeah! It's so cute!" Citrus squealed.
Lime chuckled softly and then looked at Lavender's notebook to scribble down the data that they collected.
Lavender looked up at the clock and back at her friends. "We have about 10 minutes left in class, I think we are done anyway."
"Yep. Citrus, did you write everything down?" Lime asked.
"Um- Well, not all of it," she said.
"It's fine, I have the rest of the data that you need to copy," Lime explained.
"Oh okay!" Citrus said happily and copied from Lavender's notes.
Lime wrote a few more notes and then neatly closed his black notebook and placed it in his bag, along with his pencil.
Citrus wrote the last few pieces of data in her bright yellow notebook with her neon orange pen.
"Okie dokie, I'm done!" she said.
"Alright," Lavender nodded her head then closed her notebook, also placing it in her backpack as well.
Citrus went along and copied her friends, plopping her notebook and her pen into her bag.
The friends sat down, Lavender was on her phone and reading some articles while Lime and Citrus were striking up a friendly conversation within the last few minutes of class that they had left.
As the same as the Physics class, the English class was also wrapping up. Students were already packed up, while others were still trying to accumulate the last thought for their writing assignment.
Hawks was completely locked in to his writing and didn't even realize that it was almost time to leave for the next class. His thoughts were the only thing that his mind was focused on. The thoughts circled around his very good friend. Passion coursed through his mind through his body all the way to his finger tips. Every phrase he typed was strictly from his own feelings that were very dear to him. All he could think about at that moment was her. He couldn't hear anything from the outside world. His thoughts were so loud it felt as if people could actually hear them. He started to hear a faint sound to the call of his name after a few brief seconds and a soft ringing noise.
"Hawks!" SunBurst said, shaking him.
"Dude, the bell rang, stop typing," Caution said.
"Oh-" he said unaware and confused. Hawks quickly closed out all his tabs and shut down his laptop, lightly tipping down the lid and then closed down the laptop completely.
SunBurst and Caution were both already packed up and waiting for Hawks, paintely to back up his things.
Hawks quickly put his laptop in his backpack, zipping it up and getting out of his chair ready to leave the classroom.
"Alright, are you guys ready for math?" he asked casually.
"No," Caution replied.
SunBurst was still skeptical and annoyed that Hawks wasn't paying attention to her though, she did know the reason why and ended up raising her eyebrows, looking at him with an annoyed look.
The friends walked up to the door, following behind a few students.
