Gibbs walked into autopsy with an extra spring in his step, this not going unnoticed by Ducky, who sat at his desk. Readjusting his glasses the medical examiner raised an eyebrow curiously.
"Jethro. What brings you down here? I don't have a body for you." Ducky let out a soft chuckle as he smiled at his friend.
"I have a favor to ask Duck. Would you let us use your house for the wedding?" He questioned, seeing Duckys reaction made him smile a bit more. Ducky stood up as he clasped hands on his friends shoulders.
"Jethro, I would be honored to host your and Adelines wedding. I'll need to get it cleaned some first but that won't take any time at all."
"Good. We want to get married next weekend." He turned to leave as Ducky chuckled again.
"No time like the present I suppose."

"Is there a forensic scientist in here?" She knocked on the door frame. A laugh leaving her as a shrill squeal of excitement emitted from within the lab. The goth emerging from it and rushing over with arms spread.
"Addy!!" Throwing her arms around her the two laughed at her reaction.
"I missed you too Abby." She smiled and pulled back after a moment. "I hope you're not busy this weekend. I need someone to come with me dress shopping." Another squeal of excitement left the goths lips as she bounced up and down, clapping her hands together excitedly.
"Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Yes. Yes. Of course I'll go with you!" She spun around and went to her computer. "I can totally find the best places to go. I take it you two finally picked a date?" Abby smirked, she nodded with a small grin.
"We have. Next weekend. Duckys house." Abby looked at her with a mix of shock and happiness.
"We have so much to do! Oh my gosh. Dresses. Food. Decorations. Music." She couldn't help laugh again at her enthusiastic reactions.
"Abby. It doesn't have to be insane. Just keep it simple."
"It's your wedding Addy. It's gonna be perfect." Abby grinned.

"I think my ears are still ringing from all the squealing Abby did." She smirked as they stood together at the coffee stand. Taking her cup from him as he paid the barista with a chuckle.
"I'm surprised the entire navy yard didn't hear her." He put his hand on her lower back and walked over to a bench to sit together.
"Are you going to ask someone to be your best man?" She questioned as she watched him sip on his coffee. He shrugged in response.
"I'm not sure yet."
"I think Tony would be a good fit." She nudged him knowing his relationship with Tony was different than anyone else.
"His head would explode from the ego boost." He muttered and she laughed.
"True." She sipped on her coffee before sitting it down.
"Would you go with me to my parents grave later?" She questioned softly, he nodded without hesitation. Taking her hand in his as he brought it to his lips, kissing it.
"Of course."
"Thank you. I just want to .. have a few moments there you know."
"Yeah I get that." He nodded with a faint smile. Understanding all too well the need for some closeness to those they've lost.
"I'll see you later then." She smiled, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek before standing and walking off. As she did his own mind went to the thought of visiting Shannon and Kelly's grave too.

"Sorry I haven't been in awhile." She spoke softly, putting the flowers carefully into the vase atop the gravestone. Then adjusting the flag shoved into the ground. "I've been a bit busy.." A short laugh left her lips, eyes turning to Gibbs as she took his hand. "I'm getting married and having a baby. I know you'd be thrilled mom, and dad you'd be pissed but I think you'd have liked him."
At her words he couldn't help smirk lightly, his gaze shifting down to the markers as he read over the inscriptions.
"Mr Williamson I promise I'll take care of your daughter for you. From one father to another." At his words she couldn't hold back the emotions now, tears coming forth as they flowed down her cheeks. Laying her head against his shoulder , feeling his strong arms come around her in a tight embrace. Letting her have her moment to cry. Knowing they both grieved and showed emotions in different ways. A tender kiss was pressed to the side of her head as he spoke.
"I'm sure they're proud of you." A brief nod was all she could manage in response now. "Come on let's get home. I hear you've got a busy weekend with Abby." She managed a faint laugh , her eyes lighting back up with happiness.
"Oh God. She's already mapped out places to go. I mean a strict itinerary. You may not see me for several days." He chuckled as he walked back to the car with her.
"Oh it'll be worth it. You two deserve some girl time together. No tattoos though." He flashed a smirk as he opened the door for her. Leaning up she met with her own smirk.
"Ah no, property of Gibbs on my ass?" The couple laughed together as they got in and drove from the cemetery.

"You bring him back in one piece. Please." She didn't like the situation one bit, Gibbs and Ziva were going to Afghanistan to search for a missing marine. But she knew deep down she'd want a rescue mission for him if things were reversed. Ziva smiled faintly at her as she took her hands, knowing the importance of their relationship.
"I promise to have him back in one piece for the wedding next weekend. Don't worry." A sigh of relief left her lips as she looked from Ziva to Gibbs.
"I know you will. Just needed to hear it out loud." Ziva smiled and picked up her bag, looking between the two.
"I'll let you two alone for a moment. " Ziva turned and headed to the elevator. As they were left alone, Gibbs dropped his bag. Putting his hands on her hips gently. Each time it seemed he became more comfortable with public displays of his affection towards her. Especially at NCIS. Meeting her eyes with a faint smile.
"I'll be back before you know it. I made a promise to her father." Nodding several time, she sighed again, putting her hands on his chest. Fiddling with the collar of his shirt nervously.
"I know. I know. I'd want someone to bring you back to me. It's just.. with this and all." She glanced down at herself for a moment, still only Tobias and Jackson knew of her pregnancy. But that didn't stop her immense worry about him going into a war zone. But as she finished speaking, he silenced her with a tender kiss. Knowing it would give her some ease.
"I love you. I'll be back. I promise ."
At his words all she could do was smile, face a faint shade of pink knowing several in the office saw that moment between the two."I'll be waiting gunny."

Of course while he was gone she was an absolute basket case. Unable to sit still long for anything. Not sleeping either. Finding herself in the basement days later as she eyes the sketches he'd done for the baby's things, smiling to herself as she shook her head.
"Those were supposed to be a surprise." A deep voice came from behind her, and she didn't hesitate. Spinning around as she threw her arms around him. A chuckle leaving his lips as he tightened his arms around her. "Told you I'd be back. "
"Took a day longer than I'd hoped." She mumbled against his shirt. Slowly turning her head and moving up to kiss him. He holding it only for a moment before smirking.
"You ruined the surprise. I'll have to start locking the door down here." He uttered with a teasing tone.
