"Yo Sherri. You're blocking me in. I've got to
go for provisions" Jeff calls out as they spot
Sherri dancing with some of their friends

Sherri quickly stops what she was doing and turned towards Jeff and Alex

"Oh shit. Okay I'll be right out. I've got to get
home anyways" Sherri smiles

"Sorry. I don't want to make you leave'" Jeff
says and leans his head against the wall, a hint of guilt radiating off the kind boy

"No no no no. I'm staying at my dads which
comes with a curfew so I'll get my keys and
I'll be right out" Sherry replies with a smile

"Thank you ma'am" Jeff replies

"Thanks sher" Alex grins and waved over at her friends

Jeff and Alex make their way back outside again, the two of them climbing into his car and automatically putting the air con on, the two of them were sweating from the party and the cool air coming from the air conditioners in the car was like heaven on earth.

They watched Sherri as she walked over to her car which was parked behind them in the drive way, the front lights came on and Sherri reversed out of the driveway, sending them a quick wave from her open window and then she drove off, obviously in a hurry now that she had realised that she wasn't going to make it home before her curfew.

Alex reached out towards the radio and turned the nob a few times before giving up on the radio and grabbing the aux cord, plugging her phone into the car. She clicked onto Spotify and then clicked on the playlist that her and Jeff had made specifically for when the two of them went on car rides, which in all honesty was quite frequently.'

She only left the music on low so that the two of them could talk if they wanted and it wouldn't be too distracting for Jeff as he drove at night time. She bobbed her head slowly as friends by chase Atlantic played through the car speakers, looking over at Jeff with a wide grin as the two of them began to sing it softly...

"So how's shit going with your dad recently Lex?" Jeff asks quietly  "you know. I talked to
my parents about it and they said that they would be fine with you moving in with us, you know how much my ma loves you."
Jeff makes sure to keep his eyes on the road as he speaks to her so that nothing would go wrong. He wouldn't be able
to forgive himself if something happend to her, especially under his supervision or due to his driving

"I would love that but I couldn't just dump myself on your parents like that and besides, I've gotta look after my dad" alex mumbles out softly, not being able to help but feel a hint of wariness inside of her heart at the thought of moving in with the Atkins, it would be amazing, she loved the whole family... but it was a dream that she believed was unreachable.

"You know that my parents love you and it's impossible for you to ever be a burden Lex, you know that. And your dad is meant to be looking after you not the other way around, he is a bloody dick who doesn't deserve to have you as a daughter, he doesn't know how lucky he really is," Jeff sighs

"Can we talk about this tomorrow please. I'm too tired to talk about it right now" alex
mumbles and Jeff smiles softly, "we've got all of the time in the world to worry about the things that are wrong with our lives, but right now why don't we just enjoy it huh?"

"Of course tiny," Jeff grins and then continues talking "you know I don't know what I would do without you in my life. You're
my soulmate, two kindered souls"

"God you're so cheesy" Alexandra laughs which causes the boy to grin widely

"I know but it's true. Your my soulmate. I would die without you... A world without you is not a world that I would consider living in." Jeff stated in all honestly, a sad tone falling from his lips as he imagined what his life would be like if he hadn't of met her
