Fourteen

Prescott looks cutely. Carlos tries to calm Ben down. He notices he has a splinter. Carlos manages to calm him down. He sits beside him and takes his paw.
"Ok on 3. 1, 2, 3." He pulls it.
Ben lets out a roar.
"There you did it!" He says.
Where did Prescott go—? Why is he in a tree?
"Prescott, what are you doing?"
"... I was trying to get a better angle?" He says more of asks. He's lying lol.
"Were you scared?" Carlos asks.
"No... well... fine I saw the girl who kicked in the dick coming our way."
We turn and watch Ben get blasted by enchanted lake water. He changes somewhat back to normal. It's Jane!
"Hello my ravishing duckling," Harry says.
"Ravishing and taken," Carlos says, "in case if anyone was confused."
"Why did you kick me in the dick?!? It was Roman who was looking at you and that was only to measure for clothes."
"I'm sorry."
Wait Jane did that?
"Wait Jane did that? That's kinda unbelievable."
He's red but he nods.
"Wait so now you're scared of her?" Carlos asks.
"No I'm scared of her kicks!"
"How hard did she kick?"
He pulls his pants out slightly.
"My dick is still red!"
She giggles.
"And it was a week ago!"
"Maybe you really pissed her off."
"I thought you were a pervert!"
"I was looking at my phone."
I chuckle. The way he's talking... it reminds me of Amir...I sigh. ... I miss him. I look down.
"I love you younger cousin... 'ahibuk ya abn eami al'asghari," his voice says to me.
I hope he's ok! I snap out of it and realize that Prescott is finally out of the tree.
"Wait a minute whose side are they on?" Ben asks.
"They decided to follow us. Mal has the ember which is the only way to stop Audrey details to follow."
"Wait you all went back to the isle?"
"Yes details to follow."
"Wait where's the others?"
"With Uma at Evie's place."
"Wait Uma?"
"Details to follow!" We all shout.
I push him to walk.
Prescott is dragged by Harry. We go to Evie's. Hey where's Uma?
"Where's Uma?"
"She just passed out."
We nod. ... I still can't help but miss him. I look down. I sigh softly.

Flashback.

"Hey JJ what's up?" Amir asks walking over to me.
I smile, "Nothing."
He smiles and pushes the hair out of his left eye.
"What are you up to?"
"Just helping Uncle so he doesn't get mad at you for not being fast enough."
I nod. He smiles and hugs me. He finishes stocking the shelf.
"Thanks."
"No problem... hey."
"Hm?"
"Don't let what Uncle says get you down, okay?"
I nod.
"Okay."
I smile. He smiles back before kissing my forehead. I look down.
"What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing."
He sighs looking me in the eyes. He scoops me up.
"What are you doing?"
"Picking you up."
I sigh. He puts me in his chair. I look around. He smiles and kisses my forehead. I smile.
"What do you wanna eat?"
"I don't care."
He chuckles and asks, "So surprise you?"
I nod. Claudius walks in.
"Hey how's Kaipo?"
"He's still sad."
"I mean I know that but is he at least healing okay?"
"Yeah."
"Why don't you stay and eat?"
"Sure."
I sigh. We eat and Claudius leaves. Amir sighs.
"I worry about them just as much as I have to worry about you."
I nod.
"Do you know how much I worry about you?"
"No."
"All the time."
"Why?"
"Because you're like my brother. My younger brother."
I smile.
"I love you dearly."
"I love you too."
He grabs a blanket and tucks me in. I smile. He smiles back. He looks at his hand then jumps. There's nothing wrong with it. He smiles weakly then says, "I think I'm just tired."
I nod. He smiles again then says, "Get some rest."
I wake up to him screaming. I go see what's wrong. There's a stranger doing something to him I thought magic doesn't work here! The stranger disappears with Amir. Oh no!
I run out trying to find him but run into Claudius.
"What's wrong?"
"Amir was kidnapped!"
"How?"
"The stranger did something to him and took him!"
"... so magic does work here but how? I don't understand."
"I don't know."
"I'll have to research this... for tonight though, you should stay with us."
I nod. He scoops me up.

Flashback ends.

Amir... I miss you so much... what even happened? What if whoever it was, killed him? No! No! I can't think like that...

Mal's POV

I wonder what's on Jay's mind?
"Jay, are you ok?" I ask.
"Just missing someone." He says.
I wonder what happened to Sawyer... I miss him. It was so much fun getting in trouble with him. Until Dewey or Louie would show up and tell us to behave... he disappeared before I started bullying Uma...

Flashback.

"There you are!" He says opening the door to the secret hideout. He laughs and says, "I thought we were meeting up at the restaurant?"
I giggle. He laughs with me and says, "Awww can't stay mad at that face!"
I giggle again. He scoops me up.
"Where are we going?"
"Eat!"
We go eat. After we eat he tosses me a can of spray paint. I smile.
"Let's go!"
We go to spray paint walls. I turn to spray paint another wall only to spray paint Dewey in the mouth. Oops! He coughs it up.
"Are you okay?" We both ask.
"Yeah... at least you didn't get me in the eyes."
"Sorry."
"No it's okay just glad you didn't get my eyes."
I nod. He smiles softly but it disappears. He says, "Hey sorry to bother you but um... have you seen Louie?"
"I haven't."
"Me neither."
"Is he missing?"
"Maybe."
"Oh no."
"Let's go look for him."
I nod. We go look for him. I don't see him. We meet back up only we don't see Dewey.
"What the fuck?"
"What's going on?"
"Where are they?"
I shrug. He sighs and picks me up.
