Chapter 8: UA Entrance Exam Part 1

It has been 10 months since Shira and the UA staff has made that deal, Shira and the Staff have used that time to get to know each other so much during the whole time as they would come to the cafe where she works, it confuse her at first but soon she got over it as she got used to them being there, she got close to Yamada and Aizawa and Nezu, she is close to the other staff as well, it got to the point that she has started calling them by their name.

It was getting close to the UA entrance exam, the staff are getting nervous as they all want her to join UA and become the hero that they all know she can be, Shira on the other wasn't that nervous as she is calm and relaxed as she had studied for it and worked hard for it. She was a bit nervous at first but this just made her work even harder to work and study for it, one cause of the deal but also to be with the staff as she won't see them too often as the school year starts.

It was a day before the entrance exam, and she had just finished her shift at work, it has became a routine for her to go to UA high school to see and talk to the staff, she own a pass to get into the ground when she got to the staffroom, she knocks three times and opening the door, she softly says excuse me, the staff knows it her as she always does this. Shira saw Aizawa, she has her bright smile as she straight went to him and immediately hugged him ask puffing her cheeks and everyone in the room know that is pouting when they saw her face.

Aizawa sighs and he pats her head and asks "what's up, Shi?" Shira looks up to him, her eyes staring right at him, with her puff cheeks,

"I am annoyed," she said, as she looked at him and after saying that she buries her face back into his chest, Aizawa just sighs again while patting her head to calm her down, while everyone else sigh with him as they watch the event, Yamada walks up to them with a bright smile,

"And why is that, Shi-Chan?" he asks her, Shira turn her face from Aizawa's chest to face Yamada, she saw his face and said,

"Because people are annoying and people kept on staring at me for no reason at all, Hi-Kun" she answers him, this made the teacher confused about what she said,

"Umm...what do you mean they stare at you?" Vlad king asks her, with a confused look,

"I don't know, Ken-Kun," she answers him, she turns to face Midnight, "Neckband, is something wrong with what I wear?" she asks the R-rated hero, this made the heroes even more confused,

"There is nothing wrong with what you wear, Shi-Chan,” the R-rate hero answers the little girl, "why did someone say something about your outfit?" Midnight asks her getting concerned about the younger girl, not only her but the other heroes as well were concerned,

"Yeah, but I have calmed down now," Shira just says as she let go of Aizawa and lets out a sigh, she smiles at them, "just some annoying bug nothing more and nothing less," she said as she sat down at the couch behind her.

"What did this bug say about you?" Aizawa and Yamada ask at the same time,

"Well, they say that the clothes I wear were practically asking boys to come and touch me inappropriately," Shira just answers with a bit of announcement in her voice,

"What but your clothes are cute, not inappropriate at all!" Midnight said, with an annoyed tone, as Shira is just wearing a white mini cut-out dress, with a blue denim jacket and ankle heel boots, with her shoulder bag, "it makes no sense at all," Midnight said with a sigh,

"I know right," Shira said. Shira and the teachers talk for a while and spend together, Shira would sometimes help them with work. They drop her off at her home, after getting ready, she opens her laptop and types something on it for a while, then her ends of lips curve upwards into a smirk as the light from the laptop reflected off her eyes making seems like her eyes were glowing.

The next day is the day of the entrance exam. It is the day that made many of last year's off middle schoolers prepare for. The school that has the highest success rates of heroes, that many children wish and dream ongoing to. While many kids are getting ready for the exam there is one girl who is almost late, and this made the UA staff worry for this girl. This girl is on her phone listening to music, while she was walking she notice some people needed help from a hero fight that happened nearby and her buying her she look at the time and notice she will be late but instead ignore it and start calling for an ambulance as she has noticed that is none there and calls for the police to come as well, after calling, she ties her hair while walking towards the people who are injured and trap from debris from cabrioles, no caring for the facts that she will be late and her surrounding, using her work to make a safe area for the injured making the tools that she needs from her surrounding.

People who notice her took videos and posted them on the internet as people recognise who is from her previous video of her but she was once again busy helping others to care for them. While that was happening the heroes being worried for the girl were about to call her or call their detective friend to go pick her up when midnight who got a notification from hero watch tube, as her instinct told her to watch it, she listen to it and watch it and as always Shira always prove the heroes points of her being a hero, as the video shows an image of her helping others and treating other's injured, Midnight showed the videos to the other and it calms them down from panicking,

"Ay...this girl made me worried sick," Yamada said with an exasperated voice as he slaps down on his chair. the other heroes nod their heads in agreement with his statement, there was a few seconds of silence until Nezu pops up from Aizawa's scarf making the other heroes except Aizawa jump in surprise,

"Tsukauchi said he will drop her off, as the polices and ambulance are near arriving there and when he arrives there, he will pick her up and bring her here," Aizawa said to his co-workers as they all nods gladly to hear that she will just make it in time to the exam, they all start to prepare for the exam.

Tsukauchi's POV:

I am now driving to pick up a young girl who will make a great hero and who has made it to the hearts of many heroes, I have only met her a couple of times and in those times, she made a connection to me but not only me but a lot of heroes who were there and civilians too, the police department remembers her a couple of time as she sometimes helps out with the damages from the fight from hero fights and so on, it got to the point some people gave her multiple titles like in the police department, 'the angel protector' the police department gave her that name as she always protects people to the best she can, helps people when she can and making sure that they are safe, whoever those people are she will do as much as she can.

when the UA staff heroes brought her into the station, not only me but the whole department was shocked, I nearly choked on my coffee, the other police department went up to her and ask what happened, everyone was panicking thinking something bad happen to her, I could tell almost everyone in the department was ready to brag that person who hurt her to hell. The heroes were shocked to see this kind of reaction from the police officers, when I walk up to them,

Flashback:

"Hey, what happened?" I asked them, they looked at me, it was Yamada was the one who explain it to, from how they met her till now, it made me glad to know that it wasn't for anything bad. I then brought them all to an empty meeting room to talk about things,

"So yeah, I made a deal with the UA staff heroes, that I will go to UA high hero course but at the same time they have to figure out what is my deepest wish, and Nezu and Yamada and Kayama thought it would be fun for you to join in," Shira said to me, hearing this took me by surprise, and seeing Nezu wide creepy smile told that I have no choice so I agree,

Flashback Ends:

when I have got there, I have noticed the ambulance got there already, bringing people to the hospitals, asking questions of contacts, I walk past them to see Shira, humming to a little child as she bandages their little arms as the child-mother hugged them,

"See little one, I have to finish before you notice," Shira said with a gentle smile on her face, the kid just giggled at her, the mother had a bright smile on their face seeing their child giggling at the moment, the moment was cute and sweet, I watched for a little while but then remembered that she had the UA exam to get to so I walked to her.

"Shira, you have the UA exam to go to," I said to her, she turns to see me,

"Hey, Tuska-kun," she said to me with a bright smile, like there was nothing wrong or that she will be missing the hardest and most important entrance exam, some of the surrounding people hear me, and walk up to where we were and said,

"Wait you are taking the UA entrance exam?" a man said, more people heard what he said, Shira just nods as she went to writing up a report of the kid's and the mothers injures and their treatment,

"Then what are you still doing here and not at the exam?" another man asks, I look around and notice some people's cameras and reporter were seeing this and recording it, I got a text message, I look to see it was from the group chat with me and the UA heroes,

Shira's Friend Group Chat:

Caterpillar: Tsukauchi, what is going on?

loudspeaker: Yeah, where are both of you?

Truth/lie: Yeah, I know but Shira wants to continue what she is doing at the moment

loudspeaker: But she is going to be late

Truth/lie: I know

I sigh, I look up to hear Shira reply,

"Helping," she said as though it was nothing and that she is not missing anything at all

"Big sis, are you going to UA?" the kid asks with stars in their eyes,

"Not too sure" she answers with a smile, this made the kid confuse, she saw this and explained to the kid "I am sure, as I have to pass the entrance exam,"

"You will pass for sure," the kid said with excitement and a bright wide smile, Shira just giggled seeing the kid being so cute, "when is the exam, so I can go and cheer for you?" the kid asks with his smile,

"Well it should be starting soon but I will take it some other time," Shira answered as she pats the kid on the head with a gentle and soft smile, the kid's smile seem to dim,

"Then you should go now," the kid said as they got out of their mother's arms and took Shiras, and start to drag her, this took her by surprise and worry as the kid is injured, they may not be serious but still, more people to say the same thing,

"Right, right, I will go okay," Shira said as she had given up as she can see many people, who should be resting, start to do the same thing, "Tsukauchi, let's go," she said as she turn towards me, I just nod and said thank you the everyone for the help, we got to the car. I drove as fast as the law would allow me; we manage by some miracle to make it before the exam started.

We were by the hallways to see the teachers waiting for her when they saw the let out a relieved sigh, they told her good luck and everything, she soon entered the exam room, then Aizawa and Thirteen saw it was time for them to enter so they did, the rest of the staff saw how exhausted I am so they invited me to join which I agreed just to watch the written exam and afterward I would leave to do my paperwork at my office.
