Wrong Number 2 (DISCONTINUED)

so this is Christmas ❄ (15)

*y/n's pov*

Mum, Chris, Louis, and I were currently tree shopping Christmas was in 2 weeks and we just now find time to go and get one

And well Louis is here with us cause when is he not

"How about this one?" Mum asks

"That one is pretty skinny and short we want a big puffy one" I say

I love Christmas tree shopping we get to go looking for the perfect tree that we sit in our living room for the next little bit. It has to be the perfect tree

"This one's pretty puffy" Louis says

"Yeah but it's missing a chunk there" Chris points out

"Damn it, it was a decent size too" I sigh

We look for another 20 minutes before finding the right one

"This is it" I smile staring at the tree

"That it is kiddo" Chris says from beside me

He and Louis lay on the ground in front of the tree and start cutting it

"Be ready to catch it" Chris shouts from underneath the tree

Me and mum get into position waiting for the tree to fall

Eventually it does and we hold it while Chris and Louis get up before Chris put it on the tree wheely things and bring it to the front so we can get the tree wrapped (in like a netting so it doesn't break on the drive) and paid for

We all worked together to get the tree tied and secured up on top of the car before getting in and driving away

Pretty sure there were people taking pictures of us but that's the new usual so it doesn't bother me anymore

And Louis likes to pose for the people because well he's Louis

Once we got home Chris brought the tree into the house and we set it up

The dogs were very interested in what was going on causing us to chuckle

*Time skip to a couple hours later*

Louis was now gone as he had to go home so it was just Mum, Chris, me and the dogs

We were sorting out the decorations so we could hang them on the tree

Chris and mum being the cringy couple they are made a new ornament that had a heart and inside the heart it said 'Chris + m/n 2015'

I still cannt believe it had been around 4 and half months since they started dating and 5 and a half months of him knowing me
(I think)

We were planning on celebrating Christmas here since Chris basically lives here then we are going to go to Lisa's after since we've been invited

We finally started to hang the ornaments on the tree as we talked and laughed with each other

"So this is Christmas......And what have you done...." I sang following along to the Christmas music playing softly in the background

"Another year over" Chris sang joining in

"And a new one just began" I sang back smiling

"Come on m/n this parts yours" Chris said kissing mum's cheek

"And so this is Christmas" she sang in a soft voice

"Now all together" Chris added

"I hope you have fun....the near and dear ones......the old and the young" we sang together

We spent the next couple of hours decorating the tree and singing Christmas songs together

The last Christmas we smiled this much was before dad died, it felt nice to have someone else here celebrating with us

I know this is what dad would've wanted all he wanted was for us to be happy and that's what we were

Chris came into our lives when we needed him too and he light it up like there was no tomorrow

He reminds me so much of dad it's crazy sometimes when I see him and mum sitting on the couch It reminds me of mum and dad

I guess there isn't any mum and dad anymore it's mum and Chris well it could be mum and dad but I don't think me or Chris are ready for that quite yet.... he acts like a dad 24/7 and treats me like his kid with all the caring and worrying but I don't want to scare him off and I also don't want dad thinking I've replaced him even if I've accidentally called him dad a couple times in my head...that doesn't count

"Okay allll done" Chris says with a proud smile

"No we aren't we forgot two things" I say

"Oh what's that?" He asks

"We forgot these" mum says holding up the two extra stockings up

"Awww you guys didn't have to get me and doger stockings" Chris said pulling us into a hug

"Uh of course we did you basically live here anyways so you should have your own stocking" I mumble into the hug

I fear the vibration from his laugh before he let go of us letting me breathe again

"Okay the trees all decorated....the house is decorated, all we need to do is start baking Christmas treats tomorrow and then we're set for Christmas" mum says placing her hands on her hips

"What should we do now?" Chris asks while going to stand behind mum wrapping his arms around her pulling her into a backhug

"Could we watch movies?" I ask with puppy dog eyes

"Of course" they say at the same time

Chris went to ruffle up my hair but I ducked under his arm jogging to the living

"What have I said about the hair da-dude" I stumble over my words

What a save y/n you dumb ass we had one job. One job and we couldn't even do that

I sit down on the couch waiting for them

I look at Chris who has a shocked look on his face before shaking it off into a smile

Just great. way to screw up something good y/n

I sat in between them while we were are snuggled up like a cute little family

We put on home alone and just watched talking and laughing as it played

*Chris's pov*

I can't believe she was about to call me dad...I didn't know she felt like that, yeah she's said it in a joking way a couple of times

I can't help but let my mind imagine her calling me dad when she left for school or work and just in general causing the biggest smile to appear on my face

I look beside me to see the 2 lady's that warmed my heart every time I saw them before turning my attention back to the movie

Continuing to watch as a cute little family.
