It was Christmas eve I can't believe it. About a week ago me and Layla went shopping and so I got some gifts for my family and friends with the money from work that I've been saving, it was kinda tricky with Layla being there but I went into a couple shops by myself so I avoided her seeing what I got.
I got Chris a new tool box because well it was 75% off!!, and I got him pajama pants

And then I got mum a mug and got a whole bunch of thing to put in it as well and a thing I made while she was at work Chris helped me frame it once it was done

t was currently around supper time we had ordered pizza and continued to watch Christmas movies
After we opened our gifts in the morning we were going over to Lisa's to celebrate and have dinner there with everyone again
Once it started getting late we decided it was time for bed so we all get ready for bed and into our pj's. Hazel and Doger jumped up on my bed and snuggled into my sides
"What a traitor" Chris laughed
"I can't help it, I'm very likeable" I smile
"That you are my sweet girl" mum said kissing my forehead
They had decided to 'tuck' me in since it was Christmas eve pretending like I was 5 instead of 14
"When you wake up it will be Christmas so you to get a goods night's sleep" Chris said placing a kiss on my forehead
"I know" I smile
They both said there goodnights and were going to leave when mum stayed back a minute
"I'll be there in a second" she told Chris with a kiss
"Okay sweet dreams kiddo" he said closing the door behind him
"How are you?" Mum asks
"I'm good? Really excited why?" I say confused
"I just want to check in...this is only the 3rd year with out your dad here I know that's probably hard" she said pushing a piece of hair out of my face
"Oh...I honestly didn't think about that....I've just been so happy and excited to really think about this being being 3rd year Christmas without him...does that make me a bad daughter?" I ask with a frown
"Oh no of course not sweetie that's a good thing that you're so happy and excited, you could never be a bad daughter so don't ever think that okay" mum says holding my hand I his
"I haven't really thought about dad too much...ever since Chris starting coming over more he kind of kept my mind busy with watching movies and baking...I didn't really have time to think about or miss dad...of course I miss him I always will but Chris has helped me....do you think he's mad?"
"Yeah....same with me and he could never be mad at you sweetie he knows you love and miss him he always will just because your happy again and not thinking about him as often it doesn't mean he'd be mad at you all he wanted was for you to be loved and cared for he'd do anything to see you happy" she said wiping the tear that escaped away
I nod my head and lean into her hand more
"Now you sleep well my love" with a bop of my nose and a kiss to my forehead mum finally left making her way into her own bed
*Chris's pov*
Once m/n got all comfy I moved onto my side looking at her
"What?" She giggled
"Nothing your just beautiful" I smile
"Oh stop it" she said blushing
"I just want to make sure you know" I said looking into her eyes
She looked like she was thinking about something before blurting out thing that thing I would've thought
"I love you" she said with a shocked face
"I- I know we've only been dating for about 5 and a half months but I love you I'm so in love with you the way you treat y/n and care for you like she's your own to the just the way you are" she said in one breath before looking at me with her adorable face
After a moment of shock I smiled wide and kissed her. I think it's the most passionate kiss we've had
"I love you too" I said pulling away enough to rest our foreheads together
"Really? You're not just saying that because I said it"
"No I love you, I love everything about you and I love y/n she's also amazing im just so in love with you" I say with the biggest smile
We kissed a couple more time before I turned to lay on my back as she laid her head on my chest
"Night my love bug" she said smiled snuggling closer
"Night love you" I said still with the stupidest grin on my face
"Love you too" with that we both fell into a deep sleep with huge smiles present on our faces
