Lauren's Pov-

"I dont care what you have to do Halsey, all i'm asking for is a boat and you got your end of the deal." I've got a place I can hide out in for a couple of hours before cops come knocking on that door, I need to get out of this town with a boat now or never and Halsey isn't making me happy right now. "I'm giving you till 7-"

"4 hours isn't enough-" Halsey voice began to panic, she knows the consequences.

"I'll be at the dock at 7pm, and i'll be expecting a boat. If their is no boat, and you let me down... i'll stick my knife inside your beautiful wife's heart in front of your eyes." I was dead serious about this.

"7pm." Halsey stated, trying her best to sound calm and relax.

"Good." I smiled and hung up the phone.

I started going through my bag, making sure I have everything I need. Taking out my computer I began to work on my list, and contact my people who owe me from Florida. I've done my job at California, now it's time to go back and do it again. New people with new blood on their hands...

Sometimes I do get tired of this but it's fun. Being on the run, having people being scared of you, the blood rush you feel when you are about to die... it's comforting to me. One day i'll go out for the bigger things. I'm capable of it, but no one knows what i'm truly capable of.

My thoughts got cut off when I heart something coming from the door. I was curious to what it was since it wasn't a knock.. more like a scratching? I took out my gun from my backpack and began making my way towards the door, without making a sound.

I looked through the tiny whole in the door to see who it is but I saw no one. Yet the noise continued. I didn't want to open the door and it be a trap, im not easy to fool. But once I heard a *Bark* It got my attention.

Carefully and quickly, I opened the door. Making sure to stay behind it while tiny footsteps began making its way inside. Once the creature was in, I closed the door.

That seemed to catch the animals attention, it turned its head around so quickly and as I got ready to pull the trigger incase it attacked me.. it gently sat down with its tail wagging.

"I don't do pets." I said to myself, putting my gun away realizing the animal is no danger.

Once I put my weapon away, the black huge fluffy dog ran in my direction and jumped on me. On his two back feet he was almost my height.

"Ew gross gross gross, get off of me animal." I gently pushed him off of me as I walked back to my computer.

I noticed him following me and sniffing my hand, "What are you doing?" I asked it, "Of course, im talking to a dog." I scoffed.

*Bark*

"Hey shh, no one can know you are here." And I still continue to talk to it.

His nose was continued to sniff my hand before the dog started to back up and whine.

He had his head down, and with his two front palls and his back arched, he began to cover his eyes. What is his problem?

I looked at my hands, curiously. And that's when I noticed blood, but it was dried blood. One of the people that I murdered not to long ago must have been one of his owners... Damn.

"Sorry boy, but I do not regret it one bit." I said as I walked towards him and gave him a good scratch around his neck- "Whats this?" I felt a collar around his neck.

With so much fur on him it was hard to see it. I took a closer look at his collar and read,

"I am Stitch, Emotional Support dog
of Camila Cabello
If lost please call
124- 678- 547 "

"Camila Cabello?" I questioned to myself as I repeated that name, I walked over towards my computer.

As I typed it in the system, Stitch was at my feet. Swinging hit tail left and right, hitting my leg without a care.

-CAMILA CABELLO-

*NO RESULT FOUND*

"Huh... that's weird, your owner isn't in my system. But that doesn't make sense, the only blood I have on me is the people I killed- unless... unless it's not the blood your worried about and-" That's when I put the pieces together.

The girl, the girl with the chocolate eyes, her smooth wavy brown hair and lips so soft that it made my hand tingle to its touch. I felt my cheeks start to warm up to the thought of her smile and laugh and voice, it was all too memorable.

I crouched down to Stitch and scratched his ear, letting him flop on me. I grabbed its collar once more to take a look at the number written on it.

"Let's call your owner shall we?"

I typed in the number on my burner phone, I hope she picks up. The phone rang, and rang.

No answer.

"Shit." I mumbled to myself, I was kinda hoping that she would have picked up for I could hear her voice again.

"What now?" I ask Stitch, "I really need to stop talking to a dog." I groan and get up from the floor, pushing Stitch off my lap.

I walked back towards my computer and began searching, there is no way that i'm giving up on her that easily. I don't know why I feel like this, the need to see her again. If i'm correct, the cops must have token her to the closest hospital here. So if I could just get into their system, than I think I should be able to find her.

I began to do my working, trying to get into the hospitals system but of course, they actually have a tight security system around it. I'm not too good with technical stuff with like which is why I usually have someone else do it for me.. and I did have someone else, until I killed him.

It's so hard to trust in this industry.

"Only one more thing left we could try." This caught Stitch's attention and he got back up, racing towards the door. "I cannot believe i'm about to do this for her... hey Stitch tell me, does your owner have a girlfriend or boyfriend- is she gay?" I was asking these questions to a dog as I packed my stuff back up, only Stitch barking in response.

"Do you think your owner could use a trip?"
