I'm sitting in my apartment on video chat with my twin brother Jackson.

Jackson (video chat): how is work lately?
Jasmine: really good. How is the merge going?
Jackson (video chat): all the Seattle Grace people hate us.
Jasmine: I'm sure they're just scared to lose their jobs, J. Cut them some slack.

I get interrupted when I get a call from my boss Aaron Hotchner.

Me- hey.
Aaron- how fast can you get here?
Me- depends. How good is the case?
Aaron- see you in 20?
Me- I'll see you in 10.

I sigh as I end the call.

Jackson (video chat): duty calls?
Jasmine: yeah. I'm sorry.
Jackson (video chat): it's okay Jazzy. I just... I miss talking to my sister.
Jasmine: I know, I miss you too. I'll call you later, I promise.
Jackson (video chat): okay. Be safe, okay? I love you.
Jasmine: I love you too. Bye.

I end my chat with my brother then get dressed into something more decent. Once I was decent, I drive to the address Hotch sent me. When I get there, I meet up with Hotch and Morgan.

Jasmine: hey. Fill me in.
Aaron: in a minute.

We walk into an office and I see Spencer standing in the office along with former agent Jason Gideon.

Aaron: you're gonna be with us in Seattle ASAP.

Derek hands a picture to Gideon, I assume is the latest victim.

Derek: 23 year old Heather Woodland.
Aaron: before she left for lunch, she downloaded an email with a time-delayed virus attached. The killer's virus wiped her hard drive and left this on the screen.

I stand close to Spencer as Hotch gives another picture to Gideon.

Gideon: "for heaven's sake, catch me before I kill more. I cannot myself.".
Aaron: he never keeps them for more than seven days, which means we have fewer than 36 hours to find her.
Derek: they want you back in the saddle. You ready?
Spencer: looks like medical leave's over, boss.
Gideon: they're sure they want me?
Aaron: the order came from the Director.
Gideon: then we better get started.

And before we knew it, we were jumping on the jet to Seattle. I text my brother as we sit down.

Me: just thought I should let you know that I'm gonna be in Seattle for a case. I'll try to see you if I have time. Love u J ❤️

Me: haha, can't promise anything!!

I stand next to Derek as we start discussing the case.

Spencer: his first victim was 26 year old Melissa Kirsch. Stab wounds, strangulation—
Derek: okay, wait, wait. Back up, back up. He stabbed and then strangled her to finish her off?
Gideon: other way around. Why do you think he started using the belt with the second murder?
Spencer: strangulation with your bare hands is not as easy as one would believe. He tried, probably found that it took too long.
Jasmine: so he stabbed her instead.
Aaron: and realized it would be hours cleaning up the blood.
Derek: and next time, our boy's got a method. The belt.
Gideon: he's learning. Perfecting his scenario. Becoming a better killer

Seattle, Washington:

The team and I pull up to the FBI Northwest Field Office in Seattle. I walk alongside Derek as we walk into the building. We put our stuff down as we go through security then we start walking.

Derek: he never stands with his back to a window. When I was between him and a doorway, he asked me to move.
Spencer: it's hypervigilance. It's not uncommon in post traumatic stress disorder.
Derek: just how much disorder are we talking about?
Aaron: Morgan, it's been six months. Everything's okay.
