I was slowly walking towards the conference room and Derek walks next to me.

Derek: good morning, little lady.
Jasmine: I hate you.

Derek chuckles at me.

Derek: you didn't seem to hate me earlier this morning.

I whack Derek on the shoulder as I slowly walk up the stairs. I notice Penny stiffly walking towards the conference room.

Jasmine: you okay, PG?
Penelope: yeah, why?
Derek: 'cause you got a little gimp in your giddy-up.
Penelope: it's these shoes. Beauty knows no pain.
Jasmine: hold up a sec, Pen.

I lean forward and sniff Penny.

Jasmine: Derek, you smell that?

Derek leans forward and sniffs Penny.

Penelope: what are you guys doing?
Jasmine: do we smel Bengay?
Penelope: maybe. I had an active evening with Sam.

Derek and I share a confused look as we walk into the conference room.

Aaron: alright, let's get started.
Penelope: okay, great.

Derek and I take our usual seats.

Penelope: okay. So, this morning, a Wisconsin park ranger discovered three partially buried bodies in a forest preserve just outside Milwaukee.
Alex: two male and one female. He doesn't appear to have a gender preference.
Rossi: decomposed. They weren't all killed at the same time.
Penelope: and that is why I call you eagle eye. Preliminary ME reports they'd each been killed about a month apart. The most recent victim, Susan Clark, has been dead about two weeks.
JJ: 28 year old exotic dancer and prostitute.
Alex: high-risk lifestyle. What about the other two?
Penelope: I haven't ID'd them yet.
Jasmine: cause of death?
Penelope: still working on that too.
Derek: looks like they were all covered in bite marks.
JJ: from the Unsub?
Rossi: probably from critters out in the woods.
Spencer: he murdered them months apart, but buried them all in the same spot. The disposal site's obviously important to him.
Aaron: Susan Clark was reported missing six weeks ago. There were long-term ligature marks on her wrists and ankles.
Rossi: he holds them captive before he kills them.
Alex: but what exactly is he holding them for?
Aaron: that's what we need to find out. Wheels up in 30.

I pack up my files and leave the conference room.

BAU Jet:

I'm sitting next to Derek on the jet as we go over the case.

Penelope: my friends in an airplane, don't say I'm not a giver. I have ID'd the first two victims. Coming to your tablets now.

I scroll through the info as I drink my coffee.

Penelope: first up, Milwaukee resident, Melvin Lewis, 50 year old divorcé and truck driver. Next, we have Rudy Hightower, a 32 year old homeless Iraq war veteran.
Derek: two Caucasians and an African American. This guy doesn't have a racial preference either.
JJ: there's still no connection between the victims.
Rossi: maybe there is no connection. They could be targets of opportunity.
Spencer: it means it's not about who he kills, it's about how he kills them.
Alex: or what he does before or after he kills them.
Aaron: Garcia, they determine the cause of death yet?
Penelope: negative.
Derek: each one of them was single and lived alone. Maybe he keyed in on that knowing that they wouldn't be reported missing.
JJ: well, he's have to stalk them long enough to know that.
Aaron: Dave, you and Reid go to the coroner's office, Blake, JJ and I will coordinate with local PD. And, Morgans, I want you at the disposal site.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin:

When we landed in Milwaukee, Derek and I head to the disposal site.
