"You've picked a pretty one, Jordan"  A female voiced teasingly making Abigail grow tense for a second. Just by the accent, Abigail knew it was one of the old ones. She quickly turned to look behind her, only to be met by a blonde girl standing tall with confidence. She had an aura around her that just screamed danger but of course, Abigail wasn't one to run screaming at the first sign of danger.

Abigail couldn't help but feel inferior under the blonde's intense stare. She didn't want to look weak, so a feigned sense of confidence took over her. Her brows knitted together as she narrowed her eyes studying the girl in front of her.

"Rebekah, to what do we owe the pleasure." a playful smirk fell on Jordan's lips as he looked over to see the youngest Mikaelson that was much like a sister to him. From the corner of his eye, he could see that Abigail was keeping a watchful eye on the female original with a lack of trust but there was something else. An amused look grew on his face shaking his head momentarily.

"It's Abigail, right? Your name has started popping up quite a bit around the quarter; newbie vampire with impeccable control. call me curious but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about." Abigail's brows furrowed as she looked at the blonde confused. Hearing that people knew who she was made Abigail feel self-conscious. Why should she be surprised, she had recently been spending a lot of time with Jordan and even Klaus. They were probably beginning to notice, weren't they? Of course, they were, they weren't blind, far from it actually. They were probably questioning how a new vampire had gotten involved with the top-tier vampires and she couldn't help but wonder that herself.

Rebekah tilted her head a little, obviously noticing the thoughtful look on Abigail's face. A small smile made it onto her face as she walked closer to Abigail, which brought her out of her thoughts. There was a hesitant look on Abi's face not knowing if she should stay in her spot or back away. "No need to worry darling, you have managed to get one of New Orleans's most powerful vampires on your side. No vampire would dare touch you." Rebekah said with a small reassuring smile which Abigail took comfort in. She didn't know why the girl was being so nice to her but what she didn't know was that Rebekah wasn't so lucky in the friend's department and was hopeful that the girl would make a good partner in crime.

The girl looked at Jordan from the corner of her eye a small smirk playing on her lips, "Plus it seems my brother Nik has developed an interest in you darling." a scowl makes its way onto Jordan's face and a confused one on Abigail's hearing Rebekah's words only making her smirk turned into a grin. "And I know for a fact that no harm would come to you under his watch."

"Anyway, it was really nice meeting you, Abigail. Hopefully, I'll be seeing you again very soon." Rebekah sends Abi a playful wink which causes her to giggle and Jordan to roll his eyes at the blonde's typical behaviour, " Bye, Jordan." with that being said Rebekah was gone and it was back to being just the two of them.

Feeling her phone vibrate from her back pocket, she pulls it out only to see a text from a worried Josh. The sun was coming up and she should have been back by now. She was as new to this as he was but one thing he knew was that the sun was deadly to new vampires such as themselves and they had to be out of its burning gaze before it made its appearance in the morning. Though, unknown to Josh, that no longer applied to Abigail thanks to the little gift that she had just received from Jordan and couldn't be more grateful for. So of course he was worried when he knocked on her door and there was no answer. he didn't want her to get hurt, after all, that's why he had been trying so hard to keep her out of all the business between Marcel and Klaus.

However, recently he had been hearing her name popping up every so often; she had peeked the interest of many vampires within the quarter and they couldn't help but be curious about what was so special about her. Because they couldn't help but question how a newbie vampire had managed to get the favour of one of the powerful vampires of New Orleans. Josh just didn't want his best friend to get into any trouble, but seeing as the limelight was being directed onto her, it seemed that was the way it was heading. But one thing that he was sure of was that he would be by her side and wouldn't let anything happen to her. Josh tried his best to spend as much time as he could with her, but recently he was a full-time double spy, leaving barely anytime for himself and he could tell that Abigail was becoming distant because of it.
