Episode 7: Breaking The Forth Wall

After the emotional journey of the previous episode the group was quite wary of what was to come. Had the inside of the Hex changed when Wanda widened its borders? What had happened to Darcy?

No one was given a choice to voice their concerns, instead the screen lit to life immediately and the episode began.

Fade in on Wanda in bed. She roles over to see Vision isn't next to her.

Wanda (voice over): Look, we've all been there, right? ( Chuckles )

"This is a little relatable." Tony half heartedly joked

Peter looked up at him confused.

Cut to a talking head of Wanda

Wanda: Letting our fear and anger get the best of us, intentionally expanding the borders of the false world we created.

"I'm getting The Office vibes." Kate noted

"Or modern family." Peter shrugged

( Soldiers shouting ) Move it! Move it!

The real life Wanda ducked her head

Wanda Sighs

Billy and Tommy run into the room
Tommy: Mom, are you coming down soon?

Billy: Mom, our game is freaking out. ( Crackle )

Cut to Billy and Tommy playing video games. The controls switch through different decades

"No that's interesting." Agatha whispered

"Hm." Strange narrowed his eyes

Cut back to the bed room.

Tommy: Is she asleep?

Wanda: ( Muffled ) Mommy's not sleeping, honey. She's just resting her eyes.

Billy:Mom, my head feels weird. It's, like, really noisy. I don't like it.

"I wonder if he's hearing the thoughts of everyone in town." Strange thought out loud

"That would suck." Kate wrinkled her nose

Wanda: ( Softly ) Resting her eyes.

Cut to talking head

Wanda: As punishment for my reckless evening, I plan on taking a quarantine-style staycation. A whole day... just to myself. That'll show me. ( Wanda sighs heavily )

"Oh man. This is too relatable." Tony frowned

( Mellow comical music playing )

Wanda throws the blanket over revealing she's still in her costume.

Wanda: ( Softly ) Oh.

She puts her hands over her face.

Cut to down stairs where Billy and Tommy are arguing over a controller.

Tommy: I got to it first!

( Both grunting )

Billy:You always get to it first! ( Footsteps approaching )

Wanda walks past them and says nothing. She walks into the kitchen and picks up a bottle of milk.

The radio is on.

RJ: Good morning, Westviewians. Thanks for tuning in to W.N.D.A.

"W.N.D.A.?" Bucky asked

"Like Wanda?" Sam finished the train of thought.
