The ride towards their destination was not as awkward as Jimin had initially thought it out to be. He imagined they'd sit in silence when they've found out where they needed to go but what happened was the opposite.
It was ridiculous how much the two of them hit off immediately, their conversations ranging from expectations in NYU this year to what they envisioned for their Chemistry project. Jimin was pleasantly surprised by how much input he's gaining from Jungkook, as he thought that the latter was quite detached from the educational system.
It seemed Jimin was wrong about a lot of things, especially concerning Jungkook.
"This mall should have a Science store near the stationaries section." Jungkook explained, lifting one of his hands off the wheel and pointing at the building in front of them. "I've been here once. We might get lost." He warned immediately.
"This doesn't even look like a mall." Jimin replied, looking at the building in awe. "Holy shit."
"Miracle!" Jungkook exclaimed in shock, eyes wide.
"Huh?" Jimin looks at the latter and tilts his head in question. "Why?"
"N-Nothing." I was just flustered. Jungkook wanted to say, Jimin seemed so innocent and academically focused that it was a shock to him that the latter even curses.
Probably just his stereotypical head reeling, Thinking Jimin had strict parents and is in a gifted kid burnout phase.
"Let me grab a parking spot and we can go look for the equipment together." Jungkook suggested, smiling when Jimin nods in approval.
"You're also buying me food, right?" Jimin teased, laughing lightly.
"Depends, if you're nice." Jungkook joked back gracefully securing a parking spot.
"Please, I'm always nice." Jimin says, waving his hand in dismissal.
"Whatever you say, Miracle."
"Get out, Jeon!"

The mall, like Jimin expected has sported so many stalls of branded everything. From cusienes, to clothes, you name it.
Jimin gets easily distracted, Jungkook notes. He had the attention span of a literal kid, one minute he's up and running and the other he's gawking at mannequin displays or jewelery ones.
"At this rate, You'll tire out before we can even find what we need." Jungkook teased, shoving his hands in his pocket. The Raven haired liked to think he looked cool that way, and it helps him resist the urge to grab Jimin's hand too.
