"That stall needs to be more central, move the table over a little bit." Jia instructs Jake, Jay and Sunghoon, who all had exhausted expressions on their faces.

Jia and Jungwon were overseeing the school festival being set up, and they luckily had some volunteers to help. Riki agreed to bring the school newspaper along to assist, and Jake managed to get most of the football team to join in.

"Does it...really matter?" Jake asks between heavy breaths as he wipes sweat from his forehead.

"I think it's central already-" Jay begins before he's interrupted suddenly.

"You three heard her! Put your backs into it!" Yeona suddenly shouts as she walks over to the group with Sunoo and Heeseung.

Jay immediately lifts the table up after hearing Yeona, which causes Jungwon to snicker in amusement and how quickly his attitude changed once Yeona got involved.

"We've checked all the food stalls, they'll be ready for tomorrow." Heeseung says as they stop to stand next to Jungwon and Jia.

"Ah- that's great, thank you." Jia says appreciatively, nodding as she notes down the stalls that have been finished.

"Have you managed to set up a stall for your club yet?" Jungwon asks Heeseung, who nods in response.

"Done!" Sunghoon suddenly yells loudly as they drop the table down.

"Why are you so dramatic?" Heeseung says, his eyes narrowing at Sunghoon who looks away in embarrassment.

"By the way, has anyone seen Riki?" Jia asks out of interest as she looks up to the group.

"I'm pretty sure he's helping over at the bouncy castle," Sunoo says, a wide smile spreading across his face as he does so.

"Of course he is," Jia says, rolling her eyes at the thought of Riki playing and bouncing around on the castle rather than actually doing anything to help.

Sunoo chuckles at her reaction before swinging an arm over her shoulder. "Go see him, I'll stay here with Jungwon."

"Okay, call me if you need me, I won't be long," Jia says, smiling at the bright boy next to her before leaving.

As Jia walked through the school to go find Riki, she found her thoughts being overtaken by the boy himself.

The pair hadn't spoken about when they almost kissed in her room a few days ago. As soon as Soobin had left they immediately stood up without a word and went to eat dinner as if nothing had happened between them.

Truthfully, she wanted to speak about it.

She wanted to know how he felt about it, how he felt about her.

Jia herself was confused about her feelings. She'd established the fact that she was attracted to the boy, but she hadn't taken much time to think about how she felt towards him.

One thing she did know was that she struggled to get along with people. Most people saw her as uptight and cold, and chose to avoid her.

But Riki did the opposite.

Whilst she knew it was originally for his newspaper article, she didn't ignore the fact that the pair found themselves drifting back to each other frequently afterwards.

Jia felt comfortable around Riki, she enjoyed his presence and she felt as if they worked well together.

And the more time they spent together, the more she realised that what she was feeling, wasn't just platonic.

Jia suddenly stopped in the middle of the corridor at the revelation she just had.

She had never felt this way towards anyone before.

But she knew now.

She liked Nishimura Riki.

"Jia, what are you doing?"

She freezes as soon as she hears his voice from behind her. She doesn't move, not even when she hears his footsteps come closer.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asks her softly as he places a hand on her shoulder and stands next to her, his face inching closer towards hers as she stares straight ahead.

She snaps out of her trance and moves away from him quickly, which causes Riki to frown in confusion.

"I-I'm okay, I just need to go help Jungwon with something-" Jia says quickly before hurriedly walking back the same direction she came from.

Riki looks at her as she leaves, feeling puzzled at what just happened.

"You- what?!" Sunoo exclaims as he throws a hand over his mouth in shock.

"Jia, you really need to raise your standards," Jungwon says, licking at the ice cream he held.

Jia stares down at her own ice cream, which was slowly beginning to melt and drip down her cone.

"I can't believe you like Nishimura Riki!" Sunoo cries, which results in Jia shoving her free hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"Can you lower your volume! I don't want the whole school knowing Sunoo!" Jia hisses at the boy, who looks at her with wide eyes.

"So when did this even happen?" Jungwon asks, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"It was just gradual- I guess," Jia mumbles as she licks at her chocolate ice cream.

"I knew you two had gotten close, but I didn't think you had gotten this close!" Sunoo attempts to say quietly as he leans forward to look at Jia.

"He probably won't return the feelings, Riki is too popular and social...he can easily find someone better-"

Jia stops talking when Jungwon puts a finger over her mouth to shush her.

"If anything, he'd be lucky to get with you Jia," Jungwon says, which causes Jia to blush in embarrassment.

"I don't know about that..."

"So when are you going to confess- Ooh! Me and Jungwon could help you and make it super romantic!" Sunoo squeals in excitement, "I'm thinking roses and-"

"Absolutely not," Jia says bluntly, Jungwon nodding in agreement as Sunoo pouts miserably.

Jia takes a deep breath, thinking to herself before nodding.

"I'll do it...tomorrow night, at the firework display."
