Jia found herself waking up to the bright sunlight that poured in through a small gap in her curtains, landing directly onto her face.

She squinted, quickly covering her eyes from the bright light as she attempts to sit up.

However, she was stopped by a heavy weight on top of her.

Jia looks down to see Riki sleeping quietly, his cheek resting on her stomach as he let out soft breaths.

She couldn't help but smile at the sight, and found herself resting a hand on his head as she plays with his messy dark hair.

They had fallen asleep whilst watching a movie, which had quite clearly finished as the credits were rolling on Jia's tv whilst musically quietly played.

Jia wasn't planning on waking Riki up, seeing as he looked so peaceful whilst sleeping on top of her. However, her door suddenly swung open, making Riki jolt awake in shock.

Soobin looks at the pair with an exasperated expression on his features, before walking to the room with a tray of two iced teas.

"It's two in the afternoon, and it's summer! Wake up you lazy kids." Soobin says, sighing dramatically as he places the tray down on Jia's bedside table.

She wanted to be annoyed at her older brother, but seeing him stood there in an apron whilst holding out two iced teas make her smile warmly instead.

"Thank you," Jia says as she takes the glasses from him and passes one to Riki, who almost spills it as he was still half asleep.

"Jia! Make sure your boyfriend doesn't spill it, I'm not helping you clean," Soobin says as he turns to open the curtains, making both Jia and Riki hiss as the room is basked in sunlight.

"He's not my boyfriend..." Jia mumbles, causing Soobin to turn back around and raise an eyebrow at the pair.

"...yet," Soobin says simply, before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.

"I'm sorry about him," Jia mutters before sipping on her iced tea, which immediately soothed her dry throat.

"Don't apologise, it's funny," Riki says croakily in a morning voice, despite it being the afternoon.

Riki sits up, leaning over to press a soft kiss on Jia's forehead, causing her eyes to widen in surprise at his sudden action.

"Riki... what actually are we?"

Since the night at the school festival, the two remained close, but never spoke about what their relationship was despite confessing to one another.

"What do you want us to be?" Riki asks softly, placing a hand on Jia's cheek as he strokes his thumb across it slowly.

"Well... we like each other, and when people like each other it usually leads to them-"

"Jia, would you like to be my girlfriend?" Riki cuts her off, not wanting to hear her ramble as he already knew what she wanted.

Jia looks taken aback at his sudden question, her cheeks flushing red and heating up which Riki feels under his fingers.

"Y-yes-"
