Sabrina POV
"Oh ummm hi." I look at him confused.
"Well hello Mrs. Carpenter," he says.
"I'm sorry if I'm being rude but why are you here?" I ask.
"May I come in?" he asks. I nod.
"Of course judge Henry," I say. He comes in and sits down on the living room chair. I sit in the couch across from him.
"Could you get your mo- I mean your guardian here please," he says. I nod. I run over to Caili and drag her over. She was in the middle of a phone call but when she saw who it was she ended it right away.
"Judge Henry. It's a pleasure to see you," Caili says and shakes his hand. Caili and I sit on the couch together as Henry sits down on the chair. He starts looking through his binder and talking at the same time.
"Well, you must be wondering why I am here," he said. I tried not rolling my eyes. Well obviously, I mean I asked him that at the door 2 minutes ago.
"A little bit yah," Caili said. She held my hand, it felt nice.
"Well, I wanted to talk to about the contest. I'm very sorry you did not win the contest," he said to me. I smiled.
"It's ok, I think that they chose a very talented singer for the winning the contest," I say.
"Well, do you remember what I told you at the start of the competiotion?" he asked me. I thought for a bit but it would come to me. I shook my head.
"I'm sorry no," I say. He closes his book after taking a few pages stapled together out of his binder. He then gave them to Caili and as she read he finished talking to me.
"Well, I said if you didn't win I would want talk to you. Well, here I am. I want to give you a chance and give you a record deal," he said. My eyes widdened. I looked at Caili who had the same experssion on her face as mine. I looked back at him who was smiling.
"Are you serious?" I ask a little excited. Well, really excited just trying to hide the best I could.
"I am dead serious. I think you have talent and I know talent and I want to give you one chance. I will help you with your first album. If I still think you'll be a star, I will get another contract. This is a one year contract. I know it's a lot to think about but I really want to help you and make you a star," he says. I smile. I look at Caili. She gives me the contract after reading it. I am totally fine except for near the end.
"I'm sorry I can't do this last part," I say.
"Why not? We will need to start recording you as soon as we can," he says. I smile.
"And I really want this, but one we start before Christmas and two I will be away from my friends and family for more about 4 months. I can't do that," I say.
"Why don't you start the week after New Years, and in between each month you get a week off to see your family and friends," he says. I smile.
"I like it but I need one more thing," I say. He smiles.
"And what's that?" I smile and look up at Caili.
A while later...
I have signed the contract, so has Caili and Henry. He took the contract and left. I turned around and all the girls were there looking confused. I smiled.
"I GOT A RECORD DEAL!" I yelled. All of us girls screamed in happiness. We screamed for a while and jumped around like fools. We then heard a knock on the door."
It's the guys, what's going on girls? Are you guys ok?" I heard the guys asking after pounding on the door. I opened the door and kissed Bradley. He was shocked at first but then kissed me back after a bit. Then we part and I still had my arms around his neck with my foot poped up like in the romantic movies. Bradley still looks confused.
"Can you tell me why you are so happy?" he asks me. I look at him with my puppy dog eyes.
"What? You don't like me happy?" I ask and add a smile at the end. He smiles.
"I love when you're happy, I'd just like to know why," he says. I smile and kiss his cheek.
"I GOT A RECORD DEAL!" I yelled in excitement. All the guys and girls started yelling. Then someone came out of their room really mad.
"BE QUIET! SOME OF US ARE STILL TRYING TO SLEEP HERE!" the man yelled. We stopped screaming and the guys came into our hotel room.
"So What happened?" Bradley asked a little calmer.
"Well, judge Henry came here this morning and told me he wanted to make my first album. I signed the contract and now I am going to have my first album!" I said. We all screamed for a bit but then remembered the crancky person down the hall so soon became quiet. "I can't believe it," I say with a surprised smile on my face. Bradley comes and sits beside me on the couch. He then hugs me and kisses my cheek.
"I can. You are an amazing singer and are very talented," Bradley said. I smiled.
"Thank you," I say.
"Wait? So when do you start recording?" he asked.
"A week after New Years. I leave to his recording studio in San Diego for 3 weeks then I come back here for a week then go back. I do that 3 more times and then my album should be finished," I said. They all smiled.
"Well, congradulations," Row says. I smile at her. She doesn't know what I know.
"Thanks," I say.
"Alright, I love this moment as much as you guys do, but we have to get going," Caili said. The guys helped us finish packing.I finish getting ready and I sit on the couch cuddling with Bradley, just enjoying each other. I look up at Bradley and realize something about being famous.
"Bradley, I'm scared," I say. He softly smiles automatically knowing what I am talking about.
"I know you are," he says.
"What if I fail?" I ask.
"Well, if you fail. Then I'll see this girl who took a real risk. Who left the world she was used to with great courage and she danced the dance. You know. And if you fail I think there's a real chance that's I'll love you more," he says. I smile and give him a quick kiss.
"Thanks Bradley. It means a lot that you believe in me," I say.
"I always will," he says. Caili comes infront of us.
"You two are cute together like this but we are leaving in ten minutes! LET'S GO!" Caili says. We nod and finish getting ready. We then head to the airport and we got there just as they were boarding. Perfect timing! We got onto the plane and left. I am sitting beside Rowan who is typing on her laptop. I look over at her and she smiles at me.
"I just can't believe that my whole world went from being depressed and bullied every day to getting a record deal and potentially becoming a big star," I say.
"Just stay yourself and you'll be fine. I don't want my best friend to become one of those bitch alcoholics and addicted to drugs because you think you're all that. Because if you do I will have to beat that crap out of your head," she said which made me laugh."
Don't worry. That's the one thing I want to be if I become famous. Myself," I say and Row and I hug. I sleep for the rest of the ride home. Then I feel Row waking me up."
Morning Sleeping Beauty," she says. I open my eyes and we are landed in California. I smile at Rowan.
"I aint Sleeping Beauty. I'm Cinderella." It's good to be home.
