"This ultraviolet morning light, below, tells me this love is worth the fight"
-
"Y/N. What's taking so long?" Kars creeped around from your shadow, stopping you mid sentence. "Santana is waiting."
He made you jump slightly, as his eyes where locked onto Strohiem like a laser, he brushed past your shoulder.
"Who's this Y/N? Is this a ghost I'm seeing?" He laughed.
"This is Kars. He's staying here with his friends for a while. I hadn't had the chance to tell you, because I've been busy doing my job!" You smiled, a little proud you finally had someone who would stay here, even if he was a bit of a bitch - at least you got on with the other three better.
"Nice to meet you Kars." Strohiem held out his hand for Kars to shake.
Kars merely looked at it with a snarl before shaking it reluctantly.
You could feel the hostility coming from Kars, you weren't sure why, but you put it down to just him being a dick anyway.
Strohiem felt it too, but he shook it off.
"...nice to meet you too." Kars broke out of his attitude, returning to his nonchalant self. "How do you know each other?"
"I work at the bar downtown, thats where we met. I also promised Lisa Lisa a long time ago I'd keep an eye on miss Y/N while she was away."
"Well, it was nice meeting you." Kars sneered, wanting him to leave.
You gave him a look of distain and confusion, him avoiding your eye-line.
"You too," Strohiem said, looking at his watch. "I better get going. It was great seeing you again Y/N. If you change your mind about the wedding, you know where to find me."
You waved him off with Kars and closed the door behind yourself.
Kars wasn't sure if now was the right time to interrogate you about Lisa Lisa and the stone after you noticing his hostility. Instead he went back to the kitchen, avoiding your questioning looks. He silently began plotting the next step to his plan.
"Who was it Y/N?" Santana asked when you got back.
"Just a mail delivery don't worry!"
"Is that all? You were gone for a while." Esidisi said, trying to pry an answer out of you.
You sighed looking at the envelope in your hand.
"She was invited to a wedding." Kars mumbled.
"Don't worry-" You grunted, just wanting this to be over. Your dream lurking in your mind didn't help either. "I'm not going, so you don't have to worry about leaving early or finding somewhere else to stay."
The room suddenly became more tense, if that was possible.
The pillar men where exchanging glances while you stared at the plate of food in front of you.
"Suit yourself." Kars waved his hand and stormed off to his room. Leaving the rest speechless, watching him leave.
You stabbed your cinnamon roll with a knife and sighed again.
"Has he always been this moody?"
Santana nodded while the other two shook their heads.
"You'll have to excuse him. He might have anger issues." Esidisi joked.
"Coming from you?" Santana barked, causing Esidisi to become rigid.
You felt awkward eating while they stood over you, but at the same time you shovelled your food down so you could leave as soon as possible.
