NAIVETE
You write to express
To give your life more meaning
Not to infiltrate a populated niche
But give more value to your bearingYou were once a naivete
Thinking the world is yours for the taking
You thought you could do it all
You could go on forever achievingYou fell in many uncertain grounds
That left you senseless and unfeeling
The realities of life hit hard
You become the master of failingYou fluctuate like the waves in the sea
Up and down you go, it's so unnerving
Where else you found the best solace
But in the words you keep on weavingYou find joy in all the letters
Once you have your lines rhyming
The smiles on your face appear
Even if you're not financially gainingYour life may be difficult
But it's worth all the taxing
Your character will be shaped
You will purge all the sufferingYou realized you're so blessed
For all that has been happening
You looked above and reflect
Your eyes fixed on your broken ceiling07:22-07:38, Wednesday, 032322
