" are you seriously a vampire? "

" wanna find out? "

-——————————-

Y/n sat atop the man's roof, heaving out heavy breaths. Fuck, this guy was obsessed! Seriously, he just tried to shoot them with a steel crossbow bolt, as if that'll make them want to stay with him!

The sound of the rooftop door jiggling made them screech, hopping down from the 5 story mansion.

Wilbur ran out, scarf wrapped around his neck and black trench-coat billowing in the foggy wind. He shouted for them to come out and face him, still wanting them to stay with him

"Y/N! Y/N, I'M SORRY! PLEASE COME OUT!"

He pleaded, tossing down his crossbow. Wilbur was obsessed with vampires, and having one himself would be a dream. Although- Schlatt was a bitch about it, saying how he needed to kill them and whatever. Stupid vampire hunters.

Y/n hung from their feet like a bat, clinging on for dear life to the gutter attached to the man's surprisingly nice mansion. They could've turned into a bat, but they did already while trying to escape him. Fucker was insane.

"Y/N! I'LL CALL SCHLATT, DO YOU WANT THAT?!"

They snickered, cackling into their hand. Schlatt adored them. They lived in his cabin, it was beautiful and he even gave them a room. Tubbo was their brother at this point, ironically him and his father being mostly werewolves. Man, Vampires vs Werewolves was an actual thing?

Anywho, Wilbur finally shut the hell up. Hopefully, he was gone.

They slowly looked back up towards the roof, looking Wilbur right into his dark brown eyes. He grinned and grabbed their ankle, Y/n screaming and kicking at his cold hands. They thrashed and snapped, the brunet dragging them back onto the roof with a huff.

"Bite me! Bite me, I dare you!"

He sneered, knowing it would only be good for him if they did. Well, if they didn't tear out his gullet in the process. He wouldn't blame them. Vampires are known to drink blood, that's their whole shtick.

Or flesh, but that's on the zombie side- Oh, why are we going into detail about random hell creatures?!

It was only now that he decided to pay attention, the 13-year-old getting the jump on him with his own crossbow, bashing it onto his hand until he let go. It seared their skin, the handle is made of steel. Stupid weaknesses Vampires have for like, basically no reason.

He snatched it back, yanking off his long scarf and whipping it around their throat. They squeaked in surprise, being pulled towards him like a cattle's lasso. They tugged and clawed, managing to loosen it enough to get it off of their head.

"WHAT THE FUCK?? Did you just try to strangle me!?"

"No! No no, I'd never!"

"It looks like you did! What the hell, dude!"

His face went red with embarrassment, hands waving in front of him with his semi-untruthful claim. They stuck their tongue out, slowly walking backward with him speed walking towards them.

Their heel hit the edge of the roof, little pieces of rock skidding off to the ground. They glanced back, realizing there would be nothing to cushion their fall. Shit shit shit shit- Nothing to cling to that Wilbur wouldn't be able to reach, either!

"Come on, you trust me! I'd never do anything to hurt you, you know this!"

"You literally tried to shoot me 20 minutes ago."

"Well- like- OH MY GOD, JUST COME OVER HERE!"

He cried, lunging at them. They stepped to the side, wiping away a smudge of dirt from their dress shoes while he screamed a shrill, surprisingly high-pitched scream while flailing to grab onto the ledge.

His left hand gripped the end of the roof so hard his knuckles turned white, begging for Y/n to help him. The h/cette stared for a moment. They squatted in front of his swinging figure, unblinking eyes looking down at him.

His right hand swung to grab onto the side, but the creaking of the old house and the way the short roof wall cracked made him want to pray.

"I'm definitely gonna regret this later."

Wilbur's tears were short-lived, a starstruck excited look replacing them when Y/n grabbed his hands. He held on as tight as he could, the feeling of being pulled back up onto safety now surrounding him.

The brunet jumped on them, hugging them tightly and drowning them in "thank you!"'s. Y/n simply smiled.

"Why? You could have let me fall! You wanted me to fall!"

The vampires squinted a bit, standing up and climbing out of Wil's hug.

"Tommy would be lonely if I let you die."

He looked up at them, the properly dressed 13-year-old staring off into the surrounding forest. He stood in front of them, grabbing his crossbow and putting it on his hip.

"Look, I... I'll go back inside. I'll let you go home today. I can tell Tommy you came by, so he can visit. I'm sorry."

Y/n glanced at him, genuine regret on his face. Or he was gaslighting them. Who knows. Gaslight gatekeep girlboss.

They watched as he nodded, shamefully walking to the roof door and going in. Y/n sat down, feet hanging off of the roof with their legs swinging. Tommy was nice. He was one of their only friends.

Tubbo and Ranboo were the other two. Ranboo was... Well, he sure was something. He never told them what he was, although it was obvious he was more than one thing.

The vampire used their hands to steady themself on the edge, foot hitting a window sill. They began to climb down the synchronized wall decor, being able to see Wilbur prancing down each set of stairs as if he were playing music.

They didn't care for him all that much but just found him a nuisance at times. They didn't blame him for being obsessed with vampires, either. Tommy told them their dad was one, but he wasn't, well...

Around anymore.

Y/n usually invited Tommy over, and he gladly accepted. Tubbo and he were close friends, probably closer than Y/n was to Tubbo.

They just liked to feel like a family.
