A few of them went to same school growing up. Sarah and Alex went to the same schools, Jessica and Seth went to the same middle school, and Tim and Brian went to the same schools all throughout childhood. Amy went to an all girls school after she came out
Sarah and Alex were close growing up bc they both were misunderstood kids that the teachers picked on bc they didn't get good grades and often were in detention a lot. They ended up getting a bit distant after freshman year of contact, but ended up reuniting at college
Jessica and Seth met when Seth was a 7th grader and Jessica was an 8th, and the two became positive acquaintances until college.
Alex and Jay met in college and were roommates, same with Jess and Amy
Seth and Alex met through having a few of the same college courses since Seth was trying to do cinematic photography and Alex was doing film production
Seth and Sarah met through Alex, and though Sarah didn't like Seth too much at first, the two ended up being best friends
Amy met Alex by the two being in the same college band (Amy was the singer, Alex was the producer and also was learning guitar)
Amy never met the other actors until Alex brought her to a shoot at one point bc she had made them all snacks. Sarah obviously did not like her, but everyone else vibed with her, especially Seth, who began to drag her around to hang out with him and Sarah. Amy soon brought Jessica with them and they all became a friend group
Tim didn't have many friends in college but was friends with Brian and Sarah. He only met everyone through Brian taking him to that audition for MH. After a bit, since Sarah and Brian were dating, Brian dragged her into it
Jay and Seth were close friends after Alex kept bringing Seth around him, and the two would bond over photography.
