The Thorn to My Rose

-saturday 16/4/2022-

-Todoroki woke up before the blonde for once. He slowly wiggled out of Bakugou's grip and carefully placed a pillow in the blonde's arms. He gave Bakugo a kiss before walking off, and picking up the spare clothes he had at Bakugo's. He debated before deciding to sneakily grab one of Bakugo's shirts. He saw a shirt which looked plain black so he thought that it would do. He walked into Bakugou's bathroom to have a quick shower before the blonde woke up. Once showered and dried, he got dressed and realized it was Bakugou's skull shirt he took, but still wore it anyway. He went back into the main part of the room and sat down on the bed, staying silent so Bakugo could sleep in. Quickly, he messaged the puppy seller to see if he could collect the puppy today, getting the go ahead so smiled-
Todo: -muttering to himself- I hope you'll like what I have planned
-Todoroki saw his boyfriend start to stir but remained asleep. Bakugou moved towards Todoroki and wrapped his arms around the shorter male. The latter noticed sweat all around the blonde's forehead, as well as rapid breathing. Todoroki concluded that Bakugo was experiencing a nightmare. He wrapped his arms around Bakugo and calmly woke him-
Todo: Kats, come on wake up. You're having a nightmare.
-The blonde suddenly gasped for air, waking up, looking around, panicking. As he saw Todoroki, he practically threw himself at the boy. Todoroki kept his arms around Bakugou, rubbing gentle circles onto his back with one hand-
Todo: Shh, it's okay, you're okay. I'm here.
-He kept comforting, while Bakugou had his nose buried into Todoroki's neck. The scent of his boyfriend helped calm him. After a few minutes, Bakugou calmed down. Todoroki gave Bakugo a kiss on the forehead, knowing the latter secretly liked it. The blonde cracked a small smile before kissing Todoroki on the lips-
Todo: you okay Kats?
Baku: Uhh yea.. thanks
Todo: Don't need to thank me, you would have done the same. -he once again kissed Bakugo's forehead-
Baku: -he gave off a small laugh- That is true and you're really affectionate today, how come?
Todo: I figured both of us enjoy this so why not and I'm excited for today.
Baku: I see you chose to wear my shirt, it suits you. -Bakugo turned to wrap his arms around Todoroki's waist and kissed his boyfriend's neck, before nuzzling into it-
todo: Mhm, I hope you don't mind.
Baku: You can always wear my clothes. Plus, it shows those extras you're mine.
Todo: You're cute when you're sleepy, like a kitten
-He watched Bakugou blush like mad-
Baku: Sh..shut it, for that I'm getting up and having a shower!
Todo: Cuddle me some more-
Baku: Nope! I'm getting up
Todo: Fine. Um how does lunch for 12 sound?
Baku: -while grabbing some comfy clothes for himself- Sure, sounds nice. Where are we going?
Todo: I can't tell you it's a surprise
-Bakugou threw the clothes he picked up over his shoulder, giving Todoroki a forehead kiss before pinching his cheeks-
Baku: Tell me! Cut the cryptic shit, you know it aggravates me
Todo: Nope, but I'll tell you this: we need to head out at 9am for about an hour's drive
Baku: When the hell could you drive?
Todo: Since February.
Baku: Okay then. How long do we have?
Todo: About forty minute
-Bakugou nodded before walking into his bathroom and having a slow shower. Todoroki sat as he checked he had everything ready. He quickly booked a table at the restaurant. After 15 minutes, Bakugou walked out of the bathroom and immediately flopped down next to his boyfriend. Todoroki put his phone down-
Todo: We should probably leave the dorm at ten to-
Baku: Mhm, but till then we can stay here and you can get that hug you wanted.

-The two got up and Bakugo stretched his back. Todoroki grabbed his phone. The two shared a quick kiss-
todo: I'll meet you in the common room, I need to grab something from my room
-Bakugou nodded and left, Todoroki walked to his dorm. He entered and quickly grabbed a body protector, helmet and boots for horse riding. He put them all into a bag and walked over to Bakugou-
Todo: Right, let's go.
Bakugou: What's in the bag?
Todo: Oh. Just something I need for later on.
-The two walked to the car. Todoroki kept the bag in the back and then sat in the driver's seat. Bakugo called shotgun which made Todoroki slightly laugh. The half and half boy focused as he started the car up and drove out of the school, down the road, and headed towards their first destination. He allowed his boyfriend to choose the subject they conversed about-
Baku: Apart from snakes, what other animals do you like?
Todo: cats and horses
Baku: Nice, is that why you compared me to a kitten or some shit?
Todo: yea it is
Baku: And why are you always out after school for at least a few hours most days of the week?
Todo: wow you have a lot of questions
Baku: I do and you will answer each one
Todo: alright, I go to do a hobby after school and it's very time consuming
Baku: What hobby?
Todo: a sport -he quickly focused more to change lanes so he could turn down the road he needed to-
Baku: You're so annoying
Todo: yea but you love it
Baku: I would be lying if I said I didn't find it cute.
Todo: -he gave off a smile at Bakugou- how about after lunch, I take you with me to my hobby?
Baku: Sure
-Todoroki nodded in acknowledgement, continuing to focus on the road and see Bakugou wanted to bring up conversations secretly preferring when he did-
Baku: *checking his phone* WILL THAT FUCKER EVER LEAVE ME ALONE? EVERY DAY! *He pretends to throw his phone*
Todo: what's he done this time?
Baku: Apparently, Kiri and his stupid twin or whatever did a challenge on who could hold their breath the longest and he's worried now because the other guy has passed out. I seriously don't understand why the fuck he always tells me as if I'll magically sort it out.
Todo: I- just get his classmate?
Baku: He fucking should, instead of asking me. Let me respond. *He takes a picture of his middle finger before sending it* There, that should do it.
