"You gonna be okay with him Bill?"
Stopping at the T intersection to say your goodbyes. Bill and Stanley were going to take Ben home, While You, Richie and Eddie were heading the opposite direction. Bill nodded, even though it was obvious he was still unsettled about the events of the day.
"Yeah we'll be fine, Stan you good?"
"Yeah, you okay there Ben?"
Stan looked over to Ben, questioning whether he should have asked. Though his shirt was still covered in blood, the cut had been patched up well and would be fine as long as Ben took care of it.
"Best as I can be"
"That's the spirit!"
Slapping the back of Bills bike, Richie discovered a new accent for the time being to send them on their way, in a hurry to get home for dinner.
"Good day my good fellows, til the yonder morn"
Sending them off with a one person Mexican wave, Laughing at the sarcasm in Bills tone as he said goodbye.
"Bye Richie."
"Bye guys, stay safe! Especially you Ben"
You called back at Ben as he rode off on the back of Bills bike, he smiled giving a small wave to thank you all yet again for your troubles.
"I'll try!"
"See you at the quarry tomorrow!"
Stan said kicking his bike stand up before turning off to follow Bill down the street.
"Yeah.. see you then!"
Waving at him goodbye although he was facing the wrong way and wouldn't see. You'd only been to the quarry once this summer, the weekend before the holidays. It was the first time you had gone to the quarry scince your run-up with Henry. Now that Beverly and Ben were going, you were worried that this time you wouldnt be able to hide it as 'well' as you had.
"She definitely won!"
Your spit ball had deffinelty gone the furthest and looked like it could weigh a ton. You had won in all aspects, as you usually did. You were the lougi champion 3 times along now and even still, Richie could not accept defeat.
"I call bull!"
"Richie put your pride away for a moment, mine went way far!"
Snapping back at him lightheartedly, you knew that he knew that you had won. But you also knew he wasnt going to back down, no matter how obvious it was that you had won.
"Yeah but you've got the advantage!"
"What? How the hell do I have an advantage??"
Snapping your head around to look at him, wanting to hear how you could possibly have any advantage.
"You're the only girl, they're all gonna pick you for the winner"
"Yeah, cause they have eyes!"
