"natasha is y/n's biological mother" bruce explains. a couple gasps are herd y/n begins to spiral again whilst nats crying. she thought her daughter was dead. and y/n thought her mother was dead. before saying anything they just stared at eachother. of course clint knew nat had a child, meaning he knew how she supposedly died. that confused him. maria didn't know as much as clint on the topic of the late daughter but she knew there was one. the rest of the team tho had no idea. they didn't even think it was possible for nat. everyone left the room other than the mother and daughter.

the first thing they did was hug. it was one both of them needed, they had hugged many times but this one felt different almost completing.

"how is it possible" they both start "your meant to be dead" the say at the same time pulling away from the hug.

" well i'm let's start here. how did i die" y/n asks laughing

nats pov
i take a deep breath recalling the memory it was easier to think about now that i know she isn't dead.

"well before the sterilisation, they uh wanted to impregnate me to duplicate my genes. they were successful after the 2nd try, from there i was moved to another part of the facility and limited missions, better conditions and more food. it would have been nice if i wasn't always in pain" i sigh

"i'm sorry" y/n mumbles

"no you have nothing to apologise for it's okay" i reassure before beginning again. "nine months later you were born, it was perfect, you were perfect. i never thought i wanted kids but when i looked into your green eyes that all changed. people came in to give you a check up i was so hesitant to give you to them. god i should have listened to my instincts but i let them take you it was just to the next room i could hear everything. however when they came back in 10 minutes later you weren't there. they said that you were born with a deflated lung or something i don't know i had started crying. they told me you were dead. it was horrible. a couple days later i was back to the normal schedule normal conditions i had gotten sterilised and i was back in the field. i had to act like nothing happened. you were never born" i cried recalling the memories. y/n grabs my hands and i smile

"for years i tried to convince myself you were dead but i guess a part of me always knew you were alive" i laugh "for a while when i got out i tried to look for you but there was nothing. no files in the red room you just never existed" i said

" i never stopped thinking about the possibility of you being alive but i had to except the truth. clint was the first to find out about you, then fury and than maria. i'm just so glad your actually alive" i explain smiling through the tears.

"what about me how did i die" i smile.

y/n pov

for a while i didn't like to think about my parents but now i know at least one of them is alive it becomes easier

"well apparently as soon as i was born i was abandoned at an orphanage i was told that my parents had died in a fire. obviously that wasn't true. i was taken to the red room at 2 years old i think and constantly when i was growing up they pushed me to be the best all the time saying that's what i was made for and all that" i sighed "at first i was mad at you for abandoning me but after time i realised you made the right decision i mean who would want me anyway" i laugh  nat squeezes my hands shaking her head but i continue before she can say anything

"for a while i know i couldn't do anything because as far as i knew you were dead but now i know that your alive i think everything is just perfect" i smile she smiles as we both have tears in our eyes. she pulls me into a hug causing me to fall into her on the bed. i burry my head in her chest as she rubs my back squeezing be tight.

"i finally have you back, your back, back, back, back" she repeats over and over whispering quietly i smile

" i'm back mum we're together again"
