Hogwarts, Great Hall, (Sept. 1st)....

Diana couldn't help but marvel at everything around Her. The charms on the ceiling, The ghosts, The countless suites of armour, and the talking portraits were beyond what she imagined they would be. Sure, she had read everything in Hogwarts:A History, and her parents and uncles had told her countless stories about Hogwarts, but seeing it all was truly amazing.

The sorting hats song was truly interesting, and she briefly wondered if it had to come up with a new song each year. She looked up to the staff table to see her pseudo-grandfather, Albus Dumbledore, looking proudly at each new student. Diana Briefly caught the headmasters eyes, and she was certain that Dumbledore winked at her just before assistant Headmistress MacGonagall called out the first name to be sorted.

Diana Recognised several names that her parents had mentioned. Abbot, Bones and Davis were among the most notable that Diana remembered. Diana was briefly surprised that she and her sister aren't the only twins in their year. After Padma Patil was sorted into Ravenclaw and her sister Parvati into Gryffindor, MacGonagall looked at her list of names and called out, "Potter, Diana"

Diana took a bold step forward, knowing that the whispers around the hall were more than likely about her and her sister. The last thing she hard before the hat fall over her eyes was one particularly classless Hufflepuff saying, "I didn't know that potters had two kids."

"Hmm,what do we here?" A Disembodied voice asked.

"Quite a mind you have miss. Potter, But you also have a thirst to prove yourself. Yes, you fear the world will always see you as the sister of the Girl-who-lived. You want to prove yourself better than your sister..."

Diana bristled angrily. "I don't want to be better than Aless-"

"Please, miss. Potter, you cannot lie to me. Besides, it's not wrong to seek greatness, and you do seek greatness, miss. Potter, there Is no doubt about that. I've sorted many children, but only handful ever held themselves to the same supererogatory standards you seem to set for yourself. Now, where do I put you, hmm?"

" Gryffindor?" Diana asked.

" Is that what you want, miss. Potter? To be a Gryffindor? "

Diana paused. It was always Alessia's Desire to become a perfect Gryffindor like their Father, but did she really wanted to become a Gryffindor?

" Your silence answers my question. Now, while you initially started to study to try and prove yourself equal to your sister, you develop a love and talent for magic that I have rarely seen in someone your age. Yes, it's quite clear that you belong in...... RAVENCLAW. "

The hat was quickly removed from Diana's head, and she looked up to see Professor MacGonagall give her a small smile as the table furthest to the left exploded in cheers. Diana immediately set-off to the Ravenclaw table as MacGonagall called, "Potter, Alessia."

As everyone at the Ravenclaw table began trying to shake her hand and congratulate her, Diana did her best to watch her sister when the the hat was placed on her head. Judging by the way Alessia grabbing the stool and muttering to herself, it appeared that her sister was having a very intense conversation with the sorting hats. After almost a minute had passed, the hat called out, "GRYFFINDOR."

Diana couldn't help but clap with the hall as Alessia made her way to the Gryffindor Table. Diana know Alessia had practically modelled herself after their father for some time, and that it had been her sisters Dream to end up in Gryffindor just like their Dad.

As Blaise Zabini was placed into Slytherin, ending the Sorting, Diana smiled. She was finally at Hogwarts with her sister. This year was going to be Great.

If only she knows that she will be leaving Hogwarts soon......
