Freshly cooked pancakes were placed on the dinner table in front of Seline and she looked up from her laptop. Her brother had presented these two pancakes with a bright smile, then opened his school bag before pulling out his IPad. "Nart, yoi shouldn't have" Seline thanked her brother as he handed her a fork, along with a knife. The two began joking and fooling around, filling their home with laughs and fresh air.

Nart was laughing at his sister's recent joke, regarding his first ever girlfriend from middle school. They weren't an actual item, in his mind atleast, so they joked how she would call herself his wife, while he did not even know what that word meant. He thought she was calling herself his sister, so he would protect and care for her since that's how he was raised. "You were such a good, yet dumb boy" Nart placed his mechanical pen aside and jokingly pointed his threatening finger at her. "Hey, don't act innocent!"

Seline was smiling, but when glancing back up, she noticed how her brother caught someone behind her and his expression darkened. He refused to look ahead, so he grabbed his pen again and shoved his face into the iPad. She knew from the sound of the footsteps who it was and so, out of respect, turned around to greet their father. He smiled, gently patted his daughter's shoulder before sitting down and be greeted by a tea made especially by Seline.

Noticing how his children weren't as bright around him as they normally were, he knew he had to resolve this issue within his family. "Kids, I'll like to discuss something with you"

Seline put her utensils down, giving her father the attention he hoped for. Meanwhile Nart wasn't having it and kept his eyes focused on the iPad's screen. "I know that yesterday was hard for some and frustrating for another, but I would like to give my thoughts regarding your mother's wish" Hearing the word 'mother' caught Nart's attention and he gave in, then looked up at his father.

"I know this is sudden and I know I should've discussed this matter with you in a more appropriate way, however if I hadn't done this sooner, I would feel bad. This matter has been bothering me for awhile now and to have you finally know about this lifted so much weight of me. I know an arranged marriage isn't something accepting nowadays and some may call it a business or forced, but this isn't the case for you, Seline. Your mother knew the family, she knew how there aren't as many men like Alan, and she wanted for you to have a respectful, hard-working and caring husband. Having a thoughtful husband makes your life easier than marry someone childish and narrow-minded, he's the exact opposite. Seline, I've done my duty and introduced you two. In the end, it's your decision that matters to me" Her father stretched his hand out and gently held onto Seline's hand.

"It's either you accept this marriage or stay here with daddy and Nart"

Nart shifted his glance towards his sister, remaining quiet to give his sister enough room to think. However, there wasn't anything to think about since Seline had a whole night to think thus through. She couldn't sleep from the thoughts roaming around her mind, as well as the intimate moment she shared with Alan. He may have not intended it to be intimate, but for her, it was breathtaking. Her mother had endless things in common with her and she believed in her mother's taste, so she trusted in this marriage deal.
