Hey everyone. Sooo, this is just some extra info on the story.
First of all, I want to tell you guys a bit more about Illdera.
When you hear the song, please listen to the words. It describes her very good.
At this point in the story, all the dwarfs, except for Kili, hate her and she is very left out in their company.
Secondly, I just want to say that Illdera's father is still alive.
In the prologue he is mentioned as one of the great kings of men. That is true, but he is a different king.
When he and Mellera got married, she gave him a gift. The gift of immortality. He would be like the elves. Immortal except if killed in a battle. She did it so that they could always be together. So yeah, he is still alive.

The next chapter we visit Rivendell and peek into Illdera's memory of the happy times there. And into the only memory of her father that she has.
