CHAPTER ONE.
Hayley sat in Tyler's living room with a glass of scotch, the darkness outside holding her gaze as a bright light hit her. Hayley broke the glass she was holding as the visions hit her.
Klaus was just about to bang the door down on the Gilbert home when the bright light him, he gripped the door frame as the visions came to him.
Hayley looked around her, no one had noticed her quiet stationary mood, she racked her brain from the previous timeline and the events unfolding of now. Her body went cold at the thought of what might have already occured. She silently left Tyler's house, unnoticed, got in her car and drove to Elena Gilbert's house.
Hayley listened outside the door and hearing only one person breathing she broke the lock and entered, stepping into the spelled living room and looked at Klaus's rigid stiff back as he stood looking at the floor of the kitchen. She knew she was too late to save Kol.
Hayley walked to Klaus and stood in front of him pulling him into a hug, he wept into her neck holding her tightly.
"I didn't get here quickly enough." She whispered to him.
"I couldn't get in. I'm going to kill them all this time." Klaus pulled back and looked at her, "You had visions too?" He asked. She nodded.
"Let me get Kol's ashes, we will need them for Davina to resurrect him." Hayley said going to the kitchen and finding the dustpan and broom and a empty jar. Coming back to Kol's charred body, and kneeling Hayley looked and Klaus and said.
"Go and sit down, don't watch this." And waited while Klaus turned. Hayley touched Kol's body watching it crumble to ash, then swept him in the dust pan and carefully poured his ashes into the jar, getting every speck of ash. Hayley cleaned the rest of the of the burnt floor and picked up two wooden stakes close to the sink, putting them in her back jeans pocket. She filled a bucket with water and bleach and wiped the floor.
