Chapter 4

Kageyama's POV:

"Yeah I'd like that."

It sent butterflies to my stomach. I couldn't help but feel excited that he said yes. I mean, he just looks so cute and..- I don't know...just amazing tonight.  That it made me all giddy inside.

"O-oh! G-great! My shift is about to end in about 20 minutes. Is that okay-?"

"Sure, sounds great. I'll make sure Kenma gets home safe first, then I'll-"

"I'm fine on my own Sho- I mean Asato."

He quickly turned his gaze from me to Kenma. "Are you sure?? I mean you came all this way, and I'd hate to just leave you all-"

Kenma then pulled Asato close towards him, while whispering something In his ear.

Hinata's POV:

"Look, go have fun on your 'date'. I'll have Kuroo or Bokuto come pick me up. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear all about that little panic you had earlier." He gave a light chuckle, tapped my shoulder, waved, then walked off.

My face started to get a little warm watching him walk off with his tactless comment. And out of habit I started rubbing the back of my back.

"Right, so- Uh- you should probably get back to work now.."

"Y-yeah! Uh- see you in 20?" He gave a small, awkward, light hearted smile. He rarely smiles, but when he does it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Y-Yep! I-I'll be eating here for you!"

"Eating..-?"

"WAITING-!"

"Alright mi rey." He smirked then disappeared from the door frame.

Kageyama's POV:

I went back to the Cafe and I saw Iwaziumi, ******, and ***** waiting for my return.

"Kageyama, you have two tables, get to it." My coworkers clearly were a tad annoyed at my disappearance.

"Man, let the guy chill. I think he just got himself a date. Didn't ya?" Although Iwaziumi was kind enough to let me run off to Asato, I knew it was going to come at a cost.. I guess this was it-

"N-no!"

"Oh yeah he did!!" He punched my shoulder playfully, then heard a table calling for him.

"Yeah go take care of that table Iwaziumi."

I decided to leave the other two as well, seeing as I had two other tables to take care of. That they made well aware that I needed to handle.

Thankfully, we were getting towards the end of the night. So most of the orders were starting to slow down, which was a relief. Really I couldn't help but feel excited knowing I had a hang out with Asato after.

"Kageyama! Your shift ends in 5! I'll be taking over for you after that."

"Hold up, but he still has an-"

"Like I was saying! Why don't you just go ahead and get changed. Your shift will be over by the time you do that."

"Alright. Thanks Iwaziumi!"

Walking off, I realized I'd only been working for about 10 minutes. There's no way it ended that quickly. I could have sworn I had about 10-15 minutes left... Iwaziumi wouldn't just let me go early. No way in hell, that's not like him.

Eh. Whatever, I can change out of this- oh. Right. The outfit I picked..- It's the Phoenix Heart one- shit..-

The Waiter outfit was extremely uncomfortable, like genuinely squeezing the life out of me, so one would believe the joy I felt when finally taking it off.
