DADDY POV:

it was me, my mom, mia and my dad we all sat in my living room looking at each other, Mia getting distracted by the butterflies out the window,

my father just blankly stared at her he was at lost for words clearly,

Mia quickly walks to the kitchen and drops something as we hear a quick
" sorry! " and laugh quietly.

she comes back with a fruit snack bag and walks up to my father, " you look sad mister, have one " she says with a cute smile.

he lets her place it in his hand and thanks her quietly, she eventually sits right back at the bay window watching the butterflies pass giggling quietly to herself

but when my father turns around there's a little smile creeping onto his face.

" one chance dad, i beg you just one " i say pleading as he looks at me and scratches the back of his neck.

" mia, sweetheart heart come here " he says as my eyes go wide and me and my mother look at each other back and forth.

" do you think we can share these I think I'll need some help eating these by myself " he say as she smiles

" sure I'll help you mister " she smiles as he stops her, " you can call me grandpa " he says as she gasps making me smile

" grandpa " she mumbles with a smile, she snuggles into his arm and smiles as he slowly pets her.

i look at my father and mumble a thank you as he winks and smiles eating a gummy.

MIA POV:

grandma and grandpa were leaving so I gave them a big hug and they both squished me I couldn't breathe.

once they left i turned to daddy as saw him smiling, " what " i say confused as he shakes his head and picks me up.

we go to his room and lay down to watch tv, but i got bored quickly and climbed ontop of him,

" hi daddy " i smile

" hi Mia " he says back

" can i have kisses daddy " i ask as he shakes his head, " what! " i gasp as he smiles " kidding " he says pulling me closer to him,

i smile and kiss back as i giggle in between the kiss, " silly girl " he says patting my bottom, i lay my head on his chest as he squeezes my bottom making me squeal,

" silly daddy! " i say hitting his chest as he smiles, " sorry sorry, how about we go take you a quick bath and daddy's gonna take you out " he says as i raise an eyebrow

" where? " i ask

" to anywhere you want " he says

" Las Vegas? " i smirk

" anywhere in this state little girl " he says as i giggle.

in the bath I was still thinking of places to go, but while I was distracted I felt daddy slip into the water with me as I smiled,

" play " i said giving him a Barbie,

" so, have you thought of where to go " ge says moving the Barbie as I make mine shake its head,

" how about we go to paint, there's a cute paint shop not to far, I'll paint you a picture and you paint daddy a picture " he says as i nod quickly,

i smile and sit down leaning into his chest as he holds me tight,

" i love my princess " he says running his fingers through my hair,

" i love you daddy " i smile laying my hand on his stomach making him flinch and chuckle softly.

on the ride there I was thinking about why grandpa was being so nice to me this morning, last time I saw him he was very upset with daddy and giving me mean faces.

i wanted to ask daddy but I was to scared so I stayed quiet,

" you alright " daddy asks putting his hand on my thigh as i nod and smile leaning into his arm,

" okay " he says tapping the inside of my thigh,

he gave me a piggy back in the painting center and we chose our things to paint,

he chose a skateboard and of course i chose a tiara because im a princess

i smiled as he pulled the chair out for me, " thank you prince daddy " i giggle
" your welcome my princess " he says sitting down getting ready to paint,

we get out all our materials and we start painting,

DADDY POV:

i see she's really focused on her painting tongue sticking out eyes still and body stiff, i smile snapping a few pictures before she notices and starts laughing,

" look daddy! i made it silver and I painted some pretty gems on it to! see " she says showing me as i smile, " green, purple and blue " i smile

" daddy's favorite colors " she says trying to wink at me, but it became more of two blinks

" your too good to me " i say blowing her a kiss as she grins and goes back to painting.

...

once we finished we waited for it to dry and we were able to take it back home,

" daddy's ready for a nap! " i say leaning back starting the car, " baby ready for barbie show " she says squealing excitedly.

" okay so while daddy naps you can lay with me and watch your barbie shows on the big tv in daddy's room okay " i say looking in the rear view mirror

" sounds like a good deal to me mister " she says giggling as i nod and head home.

i saw something was bothering her but i didn't want her to feel annoyed if I kept asking if she was okay, so I thought I'd bring it up when we were at home laying down quietly.
