chapter two, school
maya sits next to mj in the cafeteria while elliot, ned and peter are having a conversation on the other side of the table.
peter was glancing at maya seeing her laughing at something mj had said.
mj looks at the boys and sees them staring at her and maya.
"we should probably stop staring before it gets creepy." peter says looking away from maya
"too late" mj says making maya look up at her confused to what she was saying then seeing her looking at the boys. "you guys are losers"
"well, then why do you sit with us?" ned asked
"because i don't have any friends and mayas my sister" mj replied
before anyone could go back to their conversations the bell went making them all get up to go to class.

the five of them all had the next lesson together to get ready for the decathlon
maya and mj were sitting in chairs next to the wall, peter was talking to mr. harrington and elliot and ned were sitting at the desks answering questions
"next question" liz says reading the cards she had in her hands "what is the heaviest naturally-occurring element?"
elliot hit the bell infront of him saying, "hydrogens the lightest."
"that's not the question idiot" maya called out to elliot making him put up the middle finger to her
"you too, cut it out" mr harrington said looking at maya and elliot
abraham hit the bell next saying, "uranium"
"correct, thank you abraham" liz says smiling making abe smile and say "yes"
"please open your books to page 10." liz says making everyone turn the page to page 10
"you've never even been in the same room at tony stark" flash calls out making everyone look at him confused as to what he was saying
"wait, what's happening?" liz says looking at peter and mr harrington
"peters not going to washington" some girl in the class says from the floor.
"no, no, no, no." cindy says.
"why not?" abe asks
"really? right before nationals?" liz says disappointingly
"he already quit marching band and robotics lab." mj says remembering everything maya says to her about peter when she's on a rant about peter obviously crushing on the boy. everyone looked at mj confused to why she knows this "i'm not obsesssed with him. just very observant."
"flash, you're in for peter." liz says looking back at flash
"i don't know. i gotta check my calendar first. i got a hot date with black widow coming up." flash says
abe rings the bell "that is false" he says at the same time as maya says "you wish" making flash roll his eyes at her
"what'd i tell you about using the bell for comedic purposes?" mr harrington says to abe

maya only had one class left of the day before she could finally go home.
she was sitting in front of peter and she turns around seeing him staring at the clock
"peter" she says making him look at her "are we still studying tonight?" she asks
"uh i'm busy but maybe another time" he says feeling guilty but knowing he had to be spider-man. before she could say anything else the bell rings signalling for the end of the day making her turn back around and get her stuff.
haillie speaks i'm so sorry this chapter is so short, i'm trying to have a fair few chapters per act and the movies only and hour including scenes just about spider-man but i'm trying to make them as long as i can
i hope you liked this chapter, i was watching outerbanks while writing this so i will proof read it later because their is probably a lot of mistakes
