Why your new body parts won't be retractable.

So if you are wondering how and why your ears and tail will not be retractable than continue. 

As you may know a lot of people think they can try to retract their new body parts, but they cant. If they do they will be put in a lot of danger.

Ears:  Because your desired animal ears will be on the side of your head, they will be replacing your human ears. So if you thought "Oh I need to retract them if I wanna go into public!" your wrong.

 If you tried to retract them you would have no ears at all. You would end up having two holes in your head. And it would hurt A LOT. (TW blood!) The holes in your head would have a ton of blood spilling out from where you retracted your ears. There would be no space at all for your ears to go anywhere because of your brain and stuff like that. So it would hurt even more becasue of that. If you retracted your ears you probably would not be able to get them back (I'm not sure how to call it) , and it would still hurt if you tried to get them back. It would take a very very long time to make them come out again. And why would you want to hide something that took years to grow anyways?

In summary: Your cant retract your ears because there is no space and you would bleed to death.

Tail: It doesnt matter if your tail is long medium or short, you cant retract it. Because your tail is literally your spine your wouldnt have a spine. If you dont know what a spine is for (which I hope you do) it's a bone in the middle of your body that helps your back to be straight. So if you tried to retract your tail, you would not be able to sit and stand straight. Again there is no space in your body for your tail to go anywhere. So you would just trying to force and shove your tail up there. You would bleed a ton still and your would probably break some bones. Especially your spine. Now you might be wondering can you retract shorter tails, like bunny tails. The answer is still no. Even if its just a small tail like a bunnies', you would still bleed a lot and it would still hurt like hell. You would mess up all your ribs as well, because they are connected to your spine. You would probably have a bunch of bones just laying around. They could even probably pierce your skin.

In summary: Your cant retract your tail because you would mess up your spine and bones really badly. 

Claws: Your claws are basically just your nails but sharper and longer. I dont have much to explain about this, but whatever. If you tried to retract your claws you would  have no nails at all. You would just have fingers without nails. Just skin. It would hurt even more because your nails are a solid object. Considering that you would have sharp nails and you are forcing them into your fingers you could stab through your skin! (if they are sharp and strong enough)

In summary: You cant retract your claws because you would be shoving a hard and sharp object through your skin.

Fangs: Now you wouldnt really ahve to retract these, but whatever. again I dont ahve much to explain here as well, so I'm sorry if you dont understand much. 

Your fangs are just your canines but longer, wider, and sharper. if you even thought of retracting your fangs, you would ahve no teeth at all. Its not the same as your grown up teeth above your baby ones. your forcing your fangs back up there. By doing this it could mess up your teeth severely. And again, your would bleed out again. You may be thinking that retracting them will hurt but making them come back wont. I understand what you mean by that, because of your grown up teeth coming in. But its not the same at all.

In summary: You cant retract your fangs because Your mouth would be all messed up. Even a dentist wont be able to fix that.
