Ⅷ- An Annoying Weekend

Sasuke Pov

After we dropped Sakura off we got home and we sat down at the table. "Itadakimasu" We said before eating, dinner normally was quite, and at times awkward, but it was the normal

"Sasuke" I heard mother say "Hn?" "Kusha-chan has invited you over for a sleepover at Naru-chans house, are you going to go?" My mother asked "Oka-san, Kushina-san is married to the president, Naruto is his son, maybe try to cut back on the nicknames. However I will attend the sleepover" I said "Sasu-chan, I've known Kusha-chan since I before I could walk, and I'm Naru-chans godmother, however I question Jiraiya-sans right as his godfather, he really likes his sake, and..." Mother didn't finish her sentence, her face went red and her grip on her cutlery tightened "Tsuma, calm down. Now about the sleepover, will there be other students?" Father asked "I believe Karin will be present, but they live in the same mansion. I think some other members of the friend group would also come, provided they are allowed" Mother said, father nodded before eating.

*Kusha-chan is Kushina, the rest are explanatory

"So Sasuke, how was your week?" Mother asked "Good, got a little boring at the end due to nothing happening, at least nothing worth my time" I said before putting more food in my mouth. I noticed the frown on her face "From what I've gathered only one or two other members of your friend group would've been here this week" Mother said, and she was right on the money too

"Hn" "Well who were present?" She asked, sometimes I wonder how she knows what I'm saying, than again she married my father, and if people think I don't have a vocabulary, they haven't meet my father "Sakura, everyone else was away, sick, or doesn't really hang out with us anymore" I said eating "Well what did you two get up to?" She asked "We mainly did school work" I said "I might add Sakura is a great cook, she gave me some brownies since Sasuke doesn't like sweets, I have some left. I was going to share them with Izumi-chan, but if you want one or two you can have it" Itachi said.

"Oh, I'll have to meet her some time, maybe I can teach her some recipes" Mother said while clapping her hand together "Tsuma calm down, you haven't even seen the girl" Father said placing his hand on her shoulder "Gorman" Mother while composing herself. "Could you invite her over for?" My mother suggested "Maybe..." I sighed before eating "Come on Sasu-chan, I don't have anyone to cook with. Izumi-chan and I cook every weekend; and you boys don't like cooking often, maybe once or twice a month" My mother said, trying to guilt trip us "Tsuma, don't guilt trip Sasuke, he has enough on his plate. Besides, I happened to know that Sakura is busy enough as it is, she wants to be a doctor so she studies a lot, she also knows quite a bit about Ciber Safety and all that, she is also helpful to friends, after all, she had to cover up for Sasuke after the talk I had in their class a while back" My father said "Anata, you seem to have taken a liking to her" My mother said with a light laugh "That's all I know, I don't want to dig into her personal life and familys history, she has done nothing wrong to my knowledge. However if Sasuke were to get a girlfriend, I will so a background check, it wasn't necessary for Izumi because she's already part of the clan, therefore I already know lot's about her" Father said

"Oto-san, Sakura has been friends with Naruto since Kindergarten, I'm sure you could just ask Minato or Kushina-san for their opinion on her, and her family seems well off, seeing as they run a business and she lives in a two story house" Itachi said "Is her family name Haruno?" My mother asked, Itachi shrugged, not knowing the answer,  she than looked at me, I nodded "Oh, I've heard Kushina and *Hinada talk about her, doesn't she have pink hair?" She asked me, I nodded

*Hinada is the name I've given Hinatas mother, since we never know what her name is
