In a decently large sized office, a small Countryhuman peacefully doing his neatly pilled paperwork on his desk, Philippines, the small country currently cracking his head trying to find a way in paying off his 11.7 trillion debt, Philip sighs as he laid his back onto his chair while being consumed in deep thoughts, wondering...
'When will this end? I keep getting into more debts.... Can I overcome it all?'

Phil's thoughts keeps building up, remembering how much he kept relying onto America when it comes to handling political affairs, asking for suggestions and probable solutions to his problems... remembering how dependent he was to America through the years...yes, Phil cut ties with America but not fully, they still have their military ties together so he can absolutely say he's now an "independent" country and yet.... He had fallen worse than he was before he was with America... and now, he is thinking
'What if I didn't cut ties with him?'
Is he regretting what he did? Yes, maybe he was better off not having his independence, who needs independence if your people are the ones that doesn't respect you? The ones who always stab you from the back
'But maybe it's my fault turning them this way?.... Maybe my incompetence made my people realize how much of a failed leader I am...'

Phil sighs from his thoughts
'My people we're right.... I'm an absolute lapdog...'

Phil was about to drift into a quick nap until a knock made him panic and sat up making sure he doesn't look informal

-"Mr. Philippines? Mr. China wishes to talk to you."

'That damn prick' Philip said to his mind as he clears his throat and said "Let him in..."
the door opens slowly and the tall Chinese walks in with that (annoying) smile of his,
"You can leave us now."
China said as the woman bows her head and closes the door as she left, leaving both countries inside the office
"Is there something you wish to discuss Mr. China?"
Phil ask formally to the Chinese with a forced smile, China only look at the Filipino for a long moment making the Filipino impatient and about to ask again but China then finally responded,
"I wish to own Spratly islands."
With that Philip frowns and look at the Chinese for a long moment, he doesn't know what to say... Should he disagree? If he does what can he do about it? It will always end up like the other arguments regarding spratly islands but still, this made phil enraged

Phil abruptly stands up still looking at China straight in the eyes
"How could you say that?! Didn't we already had an agreement that spratly belongs to me and you'll only be taking resources?! Are you not a man of your words?!?!"
Philip yelled at the tall still smiling Chinese, Philip had always been annoyed by this behavior of China, whenever there's an argument between them he's always smiling! As if he already knows in the end he'll always ends up victorious! Philip then forcefully pulled China by the collar making the taller country bend down to the smaller male's height which caught China by surprise
"Look here Ching Chong! I. have. HAD IT! WITH YOU! YOUR FAILED PROMISES WITH ME! YOUR ABSOLUTE EXISTENCE IS A HUGE DAMN BONE IN MY THROAT! I HAVE TRIED SO HARD IN MAKING EVERYTHING PEACEFUL AND KEEPING OUR TIES EVEN AT LEAST A BIT PERFECT! SO GIVE ME A BIT OF YOUR CONSIDERATION AND LET ME KEEP SPRATLY!"
Phil is still holding China by the collar, only a few inches away from each other's faces, China then started to smile... Again but somehow more wider
Phil became more angry, after all the things he said China only SMILED?!?! This made Philip more furious "Put@ngina!"
Philip cusses, China then suddenly hold both Phil's hands that we're still holding onto his shirt's collar, because of Phil's anger he didn't gave a F*ck and just let the Chinese do what he pleases
"I've never seen you like this before, quite interesting... It's such a fascinating sight to see you in a totally different behavior, makes me wonder.... If I push you more to the edge... What kind of reaction will it give you?"
China says as he stares at the filipino head to toe, Phil on the other hand was grossed out from the Chinese behavior and so he pushed him away "Are you F*cking with me?"
Phil said as he was still pissed from the Chinese, China only gave a few laughs while fixing his shirt
"Well... This was worth my time, Phil."

'"Phil" how dare he use that nickname! We aren't even close the heck?!'
Phil said in his mind as he watches the tall Chinese walk towards the door and opens it
"I'll let this off for today since I saw something quite splendid, don't worry I won't be taking Spratly. I'll see you later then~ Phil."
As China said the last line phil was about to say something but the Chinese already closed the door and left, phil lets out a deep sigh as he sat back down to his seat 'Well at least I still have spratly' he said

★•A week Later•★

Phil is exhausted, China had been visiting Phil the whole week non-stop, even at Saturdays! Phil puts both of his hands on his head trying to massage it, he is now calm and relaxed until a knock interrupted his anti stress routine
"Sir? Mister-"

"DAMN IT WOMAN JUST LET HIM IN ALREADY! f*cking damn it..."
Phil yelled as he rubbed his forehead in a circular motion because of annoyance

"Stress from work?"

Phil was surprised that the voice wasn't the one he was expecting to hear, he looks up and his eyes beamed with joy
"Hey there Ame! How are you?"
Yes, they both have cut ties but not fully, they still have some military ties together and trading systems, so they haven't seen each other for a while "Doing fine dude, but it seemed like you aren't though."
Phil sighs as he told him about china, though surprisingly, America isn't showing much reaction to this, phil thought Ame would say at least a
" "WHAT?!?" " or something close to that, and all Ame keep replying to Phil's statements we're an "I see..."
Ame then fixes his shades with an emotionless look and says
"I'll see what I can do."
Phil was a Little confused with the American's behavior, it's as if he changed, philip shrug it off and just continued to talk to Ame, when Phil changed the topic Ame then gave a smile,
'Maybe Ame just doesn't want to talk about this for now...' phil thought

A whole day has passed and no sign of China, it was time to leave phil was quite happy as he was about to open the door and leave his office thinking what he'll be doing or cooking for tonight's dinner he then walked out of the door seeing.... Of course..... Him

"Hello there my 小花~"
Translation: Little Flower

Phil raises a brow from what china had called him, of course he knows nothing about Mandarin, China just stands there smiling as usual while phil was still confused
"What..? What did you just call me?" Philip asked and China just gave a smile, Philip always find that smile annoying but right now... He feels as if he needs to leave IMMEDIATELY

Phil then kept his composure and looked at the taller male
'Sh*t! Why did he had to be so tall? Wtf?'
philip cusses in his mind being intimidated by the tall Chinese
Phil then gives out a tired sigh
"It's already leaving time, everyone has gone home and I wish to do so as well, so if you may, get out of the way and let me pass."
Phil say with a stern voice, signifying it isn't a request but rather a command.
China still stood there like he heard nothing, the shorter Male then proceeds to force himself to get past China
China then suddenly held Phil's elbow making the Filipino flinch and look at him

*Phil's POV*

'W-What the f@ck?'
I said in my mind from the sudden grip of China on my elbow
"What... Do you want?" I asked him trying not to stutter but he still continued looking at me with a somewhat malicious gaze as he suddenly let me go
'Wtf is wrong with this guy?!'

*China's POV*

I can see from his furrowed expression are confusion and a mix of cautiousness
'Does he see me as a threat? What if I...' I took a step closer catching him by surprise as he glares at me still standing his ground not showing a bit of fear
'How cute.' I thought, this behavior of his had always caught my attention, ever since I've seen it up close from the battle of Yultong I couldn't get it off of my mind, his fighting skills and his bravery, even if him and his men were outnumbered with mine he still held his ground and kept fighting, he could've just easily surrendered but he still chose to kept going, it was quite a splendid sight, it still gave me nostalgic shivers remembering that blazing glare when he looked at me with a violent intent
