"You're going into the emperors mind?" You stutter.
Raine sighs. "It could be what we need to find out how to stop the day of unity. We need you to stand guard to make sure we don't get trapped in there." They say.
You sigh and nod.
"Meet us at the night market tonight." They say.
That night you put on a cloak and head out.
It's been a while since you went here..
You spot Raine, Darius, and Eberwolf and follow them to an alley.
You all set up the spell.
Darius sets a bottle in the middle of the spell you drew in the ground.
"Once this is broken, we will be sent to the emperors mind. Y/n, you will stay behind to guard, okay?" Darius says.
You nod.
He's about to activate the spell when.
"Halt! For crimes against the emperor, you are all under arrest!" You turn and see Hunter, holding his staff towards you.
Suddenly Luz tackles him, knocking him into the middle of the spell.
As he falls, he reaches for the thing closest to him, which unfortunately happens to be you, dragging you down with him and knocking off your hood.
"Wh- Y/n-?" He stutters.
"Guys! Can I bug you with a few questions?" Luz asks, clicking a pen.
Raine then plays a few notes, a smoke surrounding you all.
Once the smoke clears, they're gone.
"Oh great, just leave me. Okay then. I see how it is." You scoff.
"Who are those people? You're lucky I won't tell Belos about you!" Hunter yells, taking off his mask.
He stands up and paces angrily.
"Wait- watch out!" You stutter.
It's too late.
You hear a shatter under his foot.
He broke the glass.
"Nononono-" you stutter.
You're all suddenly engulfed in a yellow light.
Everything goes black.
You slowly open your eyes.
"I should wake her up! I don't trust you!" Luz yells.
"Well I'm her boyfriend! I should wake her up!" Hunter yells back.
"You both woke me up. Good job." You groan, sitting up.
You take in your surroundings.
"Where are we...?" You ask.
"Where do you think? It's your spell after all!" Hunter yells.
"But I wasn't supposed to go with them! I was supposed to stay back!" You stutter.
"Wait- hold on- did you say boyfriend?" Luz stutters, looking at Hunter.
"I- uh- that's not important human! Did you really think I'd help you prove my uncle is evil? Sure he's done some..." Hunter looks at you for a moment.
"He's done some bad things but, it's all for good reason!" He says.
You frown.
Wait- uncle?
"Well, now that I'm in his mind, I can learn the truth for myself!" Luz scoffs.
