Your shoot up in your bed, breathing heavily.
Your head hurts.
Honestly, everything hurts.
You take in your surroundings.
You're... at the owl house..?
Everything that happened yesterday floods back to you.
You quickly leave your bed and run downstairs to the door.
Hooty blocks your path, wrapping around you so you can't leave.
"Let me go! I- I need to find him- I need to find Hunter-!" You yell.
"Kid, you can't go looking for him alone. It's not safe." Eda says.
You turn and see her sitting on the couch with Lilith.
"Then come with me!" You stutter.
"We need to be here for when Luz comes back. It's not safe to have two adventures in one day." Lilith explains.
Suddenly Luz and King walk into the room.
"Alright! We're ready to g- oh! Y/n! You're awake!" Luz runs over to you, Hooty letting go of you.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
"Okay? Am I Okay!? Do I look okay to you?!" You yell.
Luz steps back a bit and your eyes widen.
"I'm- I'm sorry- I'm just.. it's.. everything that's happened is.. really stressing me out." You mumble, fidgeting with your hands awkwardly.
"Here's an idea! Come with us to find my dad! Maybe it'll distract you!" King happily jumps into your arms.
"Oh- I uh... alright." You pat him on the head, smiling before quickly heading back to your room and getting dressed.
You grab your scroll and message Hunter.
You: Hey
You: u ok?
You: please answer if you can.
You: I'm here for you.
You: you're always welcome at the owl house.
You watch for a minute, hoping for something to signify he's even seen your messages, but nothing shows up.
You sigh and close your scroll.
You head back to Luz and King. Hooty is now in his portable bag form.
You shakily take a deep breath and head out.
"So.. where exactly are we going?" you ask.
"Remember that boat we were on while looking for the selkidomus?" Luz asks.
You raise an eyebrow. "Wasn't that ship owned by the emperors coven...? Is it.. safe..?"
Luz thinks for a moment and shrugs.
You eventually reach the ship, although this time it's only manned by one person.
You all board the ship.
Turns out the guy manning the ship doesn't work for Belos anymore, so his crew left him.
You stand at the edge of the ship, looking around as you drift across the sea.
You pull out your scroll, checking to see if Hunter has said anything.
...still nothing..
"Land ho!" Luz suddenly announces.
