you and corpse kept talking while picking out books
"oh shit is that super secret" you mumbled gabbing the book "hell yeah" you said as you had been looking for this book but failing to find it
"what's that?" he asked
"oh it's about a girl who finds out her best friend is a werewolf and they fall in love" you say smiling
"you like that kind of stuff?" he said as you felt your happiens crumble as he spoke
"um yeah" you say looking down as you kept looking at the books
"o- oh that's cool" he stuttered
" yea-"
"oh hey y/n" you heard Casp's voice
"hey casp" you said hugging him before looking back at corpse
"so who are you?" casp asked
"oh he's uh" you looked up to corpse who was lightly shaking his head no "my new friend...Steve" you said glancing back at corpse
"oh hi Steve" casp said
corpse just nodded a hi before bending down to your ear
"i'm going to look around come get me when he's gone" he wispered
"okay see you later" you said as he walked away
"what was that about?" casp asked
"oh it's nothing he's just not one for talking to people" you said to him
"oh so he's like you" he said chuckling
"yup" you mumbled
"so i'm geussing you wanna go find him?" he said seeing you look back
"i'll call you later i promise" you said
"ugh fine" he sighed as you gave him a hug and walk to find corpse
you looked over to see him crouching with his pointer finger holding a book out
"hello~" you hummed as you crouched next to him
"oh hey back so soon?" he said
"yup" you answered as he grabbed the book and you both stood up
"all ready?" he asked
"yeah" you said as you both walked over to the counter
he let you stand to the side while he had the awkward conversation
"i'll pay for both" he said glancing at you
"hm no no no i got it" you said digging in you bag looking for your card but once you found it corpse already handed you the bag
"there" he said as you both walked out
"corpse~" you whined
