I don't know what got into me last night but after hearing that I could never be theirs I stopped functioning. I got back to the party and drank like it was my last day on earth
Flashback
"You shouldn't be drinking so much baby girl" Jackson said and I glared at him
"Never in your life should you ever call me that, got it?" I said as he held his hands up
"Got it. What should I call you then?" he asked
"By my name" I said then walked away from him
"Look I don't know what's going on with you right now but I don't want you to get hurt okay. I'm not gonna tell you to stop drinking but I do want you to drink with me, I won't hurt you trust me" he said as I took a swig of the wine in my hand
"You're gay aren't you?" I asked making him tense up. He began denying it as I finished the rest of the bottle before opening another one
"Ima go over there"
"Okay yes I'm gay so don't go. I'm not ready to come out and I'm afraid of what my dad will say so please don't tell anyone" he said and I nodded
"How'd you know?"
"You were checking out that guy over there then looked at that one's ass for a long time then y..."
"Okay, I get. I'm not as slick as I thought I was" he said chuckling making me giggle
"Now that you've discovered and verified my secret, wanna tell me what's on your chest?" he asked me
"I've been in love with my friends for four years now and I just heard them tell mama that I'll never be theirs so I heard alcohol makes you numb for a few hours and figured I'd rather be numb than crying in my room" I said chugging half the bottle
"Damn" was all he said making me chuckle
"It hurts so much. I don't wanna see them right now" I said making him hum
"Have you ever made out with a woman?"
"Why do you ask?" he said chuckling
"Answer the question asshole" I said pointing at what I think is his face
"No, I've always been gay" he said and I pouted
"But I do have a straight identical twin brother who should be as drunk as you are right now"
"Where is he?" I asked him
