Mal's POV
Last night was definitely one of the best nights of my life.
I feel like everything fell into place. It all mad sense, and I got what I wanted since high school.
But it came as a pretty big shocker when Lindsey somehow found the extra key and was about to break into our room at 8:30 in the morning. Luckily, I heard her fumbling with it, but we had almost no time so I told Morgana to go under the covers completely.
"Dude! Is everything alright?" Lindsey said as she walked in.
"Yeah...why?" I asked.
"You just randomly left last night and didn't answer your phone for the rest of the night or this morning. I was worri-"
"Why'd you stop talking?"
"Who are you hiding? Did you find a guy to hook up with?" She smiled.
"Wha-"
"Let me handle this one."
"Lindsey. Lindsey no." She walked over to where Morgana was hiding. "Linds-"
She ripped back the blanket.
"Surprise?" Morgana said.
"Mal." Lindsey said.
"Lindsey. I can explain. It's not what it looks like. Last night we were watching a movie and she just fell asleep here and-"
"Oh yeah. In your shirt and no shorts on?"
"Mhm."
"Okay. Lie to me I guess."
"Fine. We hooked up. But-"
"It was a one time thing." Morgana cut me off.
"That's what they all say. You're roommates for heavens sake. For another like 5 days too."
Lindsey said.
"We were both really tired and making stupid decisions last night. Not gonna happen again." Morgana said.
"Whatever."
"Don't tell anyone please. Even Ashley or Sophia or especially Kelley." I pleaded.
"I'd never. This is personal. Sorry for barging in." She left.
"That was weird."
"You're telling me." I sighed.
"And what I said...i didn't necessarily mean it." She assured me.
"Oh thank goodness. That gave me a heart attack honestly."
"But I hope she doesn't tell anyone."
"She won't. I trust her."
"I'm starving." She said. She got up and put on shorts, then socks.
"Me too. I'll go with you."
"Alright."
"Happy day before game day!" Sophia said as we walked out.
"Morning Soph!" I smiled.
"Well you're happy today."
"Yeah. Just got good sleep I guess." (Totally)
"Hey Ash." Morgana said, looking at Ashley on the couch, staring at the wall in her gym sports bra and shorts.
"Hello."
"Whatcha doin?"
"Trying to get the motivation to go to the gym."
