"Yes mom?" A girl reading a book answered, she was sitting in a chair with stacks of books on the table Infront of her
"Where were you last night?" Maria (Mom) asked, Y/n was missing for hours. Maria waited for y/n but ended up sleeping a while later
"I was simply scouting the area mom, I encountered a huge group of beasts so it took longer than usual" y/n had an innocent smile on her face
Maria didn't believe her daughter but let it go since privacy is a really big deal for y/n. As Maria left the room y/n continued reading.
"Dude!" A loud voice suddenly exclaimed when the door opened, y/n looked at the person like she was used to it
"You should get ready, your fiance is arriving soon" Mae said, Y/n groaned covering her face with the book she's holding
"I know arranged marriage isn't good but you know this is better for our encanto and lucia's" Mae pitied her cousin so much, but she can't do anything since it's the adults' order
