Ron Weasley wasn't a big fan of war. Far from it, it took an uncle he never got to even meet and it ended up taking the life of his best friend's parents. So when he was sent off with Mad-eye-moody of all wizards he wasn't exactly eager to find out what they would be doing.

After all Mad eye was a powerful veteran known for both his paranoïa and his habit of taking on dangerous missions and getting out alive. Albeit not always in one piece.

Ron was alone, the twins were shipped off with Tonks, of course luck stuck the two, they were probably going to have the time of their lives.

He stood with Blaise, Crabbe and Cho Chang. Moody presented them with the portkey and next thing they knew the wizards and witches stood in an empty forest.

Ron looked around him and saw a few dozen more units appear, nearly over fifthy wizards and witches ready for battle. His Brothers included, but he didn't have the time to greet them Mad eye was making an announcement to all the other wizards.

"This is a raid, our orders are clear, storm this colony and take as many prisoners as possible. Lethal force is allowed as a last resort." He gruffly informed.

"Don't get in my way blood traitor." Blaise whispered to Ron.

"Don't get in mine you blood status obsessed twat." He whispered back.

"Enough!" Barked Mad eye, his ears aparently being as good as his eye.

"This won't work if we don't work together as a single unit." He told every gathered Aurors and civilians.

"Why are you leading this raid?" Demanded to know a rich looking woman. Her robes were lined with jewels and priceless fabric.

"Because unlike all of you I have experience-." Began the scarred Wizard, only to be rudely interrupted.

"Yeah at getting demolished." Called a wizard from the back "Let's just get this over with, they can't be that dangerous."

"Yeah they live in the woods like animals. Unless they're going to bite us there's nothing to fear" Mockingly said another.

Mad-eye-moody tried to regain control of the situation, but it was too late. Every wizards marched up the hill towards Thalia's tree.

Where they met their first surprise. As the sun settled in the distance the first wave of wizards didn't notice the serpentine body wrapped around the tree above them.

That is until the light reflected off the shiny scales of Peleus the dragon. The light reflected in his eyes. Making Ron looked up and froze in terror.

Peleus looked down unimpressed at the intruders and snorted a plume of smoke from his nostrils. Ron let out a little scream and tackled Blaise out of the way of the stream of fire just in time. Of course said student roughly pushed him away. Stating that the likes of Ron weren't allowed to touch him.

Peleus kept blasting at the wizards who quickly cast protective charms around themselves. Seeing that his fire wasn't as effective. Peleus slithered down on the ground and spun, swiping away multiple ennemies with his scaly tail.

"Should we sound the alarm?" Asked Mark Rodriguez.

"Nah, it's been a while since Peleus got to do anything. See how happy that scaly bastard is." Laughed Mark's father Chris as Peleus set fire to a wizard's rear.

"Their getting through. Well at least some of them" added the young legacy.

"Yeah your right, I'll go sound the alarm and bring back some popcorn. You just enjoy the show." Chuckled Chris running off.
