◢ sᴜʙᴊᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴏᴘɪɴɪᴏɴ ◣ For tolerant readers! This book got 300+ chapters but I don't think the chapters even got 1000 words each, so it's actually short. It's one of those transmigrating into a scum villain who was cruelly killed by the protagonist in the book, tries to hug the golden thighs this time to escape death. The different thing about this novel is that the teenage villain already made unpardonable things to the 7 year old protagonist, and surprisingly, the protagonist was actually a regressor! And he promised to himself that he will kill the villain (MC) as mercilessly as possible. So then, our MC does his best to kiss the protagonist's thigh not knowing that the child was actually not a child in soul...
Personally, I think it should be marked at Mature, since there were themes about harming and killing people, revenge, rape, political war, etc. There were no explicit sex scenes, only implied that something happened, but the other themes could be triggering for sensitive readers.
Cons: Readers would get annoyed by the ML, since he was a regressor who already experienced ill fate, he continuously tries to harm the MC. There were toxic characters and since it's ancient China with politics, there would be a lot of scheming. Rape was also a recurring event (for the side couples), so some readers would be triggered. Pros: It was a fresh plot for me for the ML to be so unmoved, but tag said 'love interest falls in love first', so there's hope. :)
I think the world building was done pretty well and the characters were designed annoyingly realistic. Like you read books when side shou was raped by his childhood friend but the next chapter he will fall in love with his rapist? Yes, here he was utterly disgusted and it was basically how a victim should react.
