She hadn’t expected Mijoo’s abilities to have increased to such an extent in the time they hadn’t seen each other.
“Why are you laughing?” Yeri looked confused.
After a long while, Jennie finally managed to stop laughing, shaking her head as she said, “Later when we’re filming, don’t make any sounds, otherwise if you get chased out I’m not going to care about you.”
This was a scene with her and Minho. The set was ready, the props were in place and standing amidst it all was Minho was in an old-fashioned suit. Upon seeing Jennie, he said with a smile, “Jennie, the one beside you is?”
“Sister.” Jennie smiled pleasantly and tilted her head. “I’m good.”
The scene was only two minutes and one conversation. Both were in good condition, so it flowed smoothly and was passed in the first go.
After it’s over, Jennie went to change into something else to catch the next scene, and saw Minho standing beside Yeri when coming out, saying something with a smile.
Rosé followed her, asking, “That’s Director Manoban’s sister?”
Jennie left an affirmative grunt before walking over, just in time to hear Minho’s “Your eyes are really pretty.”
Before Yeri spoke, Irene shouted this way. “Minho, come over here, I’m going to talk about the next scene.”
“Coming.” Before going, Minho left behind, “Little sister, let’s chat later.”
Chat my ass!
Minho had just left when Jennie turned around and said, “Go wait for me in the make-up room.”
“What!” Yeri propped up her chin. “I want to watch you guys film.”
Jennie said straightforwardly, “I’m afraid Minho would eat you up and not even spit the bones out, I’d be unable to explain that to your brother.”
“Him?” Yeri looked disgusted and put off. “Relax, I don’t like old men.”
“…”
Rosé walked over to Yeri and hurried her. “I’ll watch her, you go film, Director Bae is asking you to hurry up.”
After his scene, Minho still wanted to go find Yeri. Jennie had yet to manage to speak when Tzuyu came up.
“Minho,” Tzuyu smiled brightly. She had already changed into something easy, a pink spaghetti strap dress that revealed a lot of skin and then some more when one leaned closer. “Let’s go eat together? I was waiting for you.”
Minho put on a smile too. “Sure, my treat.”
Minho had a very elegant and refined appearance, like a cultured person, the sort of handsome that came from being well-read and completely different from the casanova type. With his good acting skills and strong support team, it’s no wonder so many little girls liked him.
Seeing that the problem had been somewhat resolved by Tzuyu, Jennie no longer stuck around, nodding as a greeting before leaving.
When she came back, the two were no longer in their seats. She had just entered the make-up room when she saw Yeri looking at Irene with reverence.
“Really?” Yeri said anxiously. “She really redid her whole face? Her fans talk every day about how she’s a completely natural beauty.”
Rosé huffed. “Her company has had to spend copious amounts of money every year on this sort of news. Whenever someone questioned it, a huge water army (paid posters) would go up and attack them. So, she has plenty of fans and plenty of haters.”
