Make me feel love

Chapter 2

“It’s you?” asked a bewildered Felix

“Of course it’s me. Don’t pretend that you didn’t know I would be here.” Said hyunjin with a sneer

“It seems that the two of you know each other. That’s great. I would take my leave now, get ready and see you in an hour.” Said the director before walking out of the room when someone called out to her.

While Felix relaxed that no one would hear the conversation between him and hyunjin, he felt a strong glare pointed in his direction and it didn’t take him long to realize whose it was.

“Just come out and talk with me, this is no place for this.” Said Felix before he walked out of the room with hyunjin following behind him and after a while when they found a secluded place, Felix finally turned around to face him.

“Now tell me what do you want?” asked Felix

“What do I want? The question is not what I want. It is what you want?” replied hyunjin

“I want to be left alone by you and for your information, I am not following you. I was having my coffee when you collided with me and I am not some crazy obsessive fan of yours so stop your assumptions, they are completely wrong.” Said Felix in a strong voice

“Oh really? Then do you mind telling me what are you doing here?”

“Are you deaf or what? Didn’t you hear the director saying that we are going to be co-stars for today’s show? Get off your high horse and for once listen to people around you. Not everyone is crazy about you, accept that. And if you think that I am not Felix then search him up on the internet and you will find who he is.” Said Felix with a deep sigh

“oh.” Was all that hyunjin said when he realized the mistake he had just made

“I guess, you finally figured it all out. Let me introduce myself again. I am Lee Felix, a poet, and a lyricist. I will be starring beside you today, so I hope we put our personal vendetta behind us and focus on our work.”

“I am Hwang Hyunjin and I am an actor turned model. I am sorry about the accusations I made which were completely unwarranted but I couldn’t help but imagine that you are a crazy fan who keeps on following me. Although that doesn’t matter anymore, I also hope the same as you.” said hyunjin with a tone that Felix couldn’t quite interpret the meaning of. There was something standoffish about the tone Hyunjin used but Felix didn’t try to ask anything further as he just wanted to get it done with.

“It’s good that the misunderstanding is cleared now. So I will take my leave.” Said Hyunjin before walking away from Felix

“He is crazy.” Murmured Felix with a deep sigh

The show was finally reaching its end and Felix couldn’t be more relaxed knowing that the show is going to end soon without any obstacles but as always, life had other plans. What Felix never expected was for the show to have a surprise segment where everyone will have to suggest some romantic lines to the viewers. This made Felix uncomfortable as he wasn’t prepared for this but he tried to remain calm in front of the camera to avoid any mistakes and that’s when he finally got an idea.

As everyone then said their lines and sat back down, the only one which Felix paid attention to was Hyunjin’s statement but he was disappointed when hyunjin just said some cliché lines that were readily available on the internet. It almost seemed as if Hyunjin deliberately didn’t want to say anything about love. But before Felix could dwell more on these thoughts, it was his turn.

“I am not that great with people so the only things that I can say are some lines of a poem that I read a long time ago. I believe that simple words are not the only way to express your feelings, using poems could also be a beautiful experience.” Said Felix before taking a deep breath to calm his nerves and then he started again.

“If Gratitude were enough,
I’d fill the oceans with mine for having you
If laughter were enough,
I’d make you laugh till your last breath,
Just so I can hear that beautiful sound for eternity

If life were enough,
I’d trade mine for yours in a heartbeat
Just so you can live to fulfill all your heart’s desires,
As all I want for you is your never-ending joy,
Your gentleness, coyness, kindness
And if love were enough,
I’d love you in and out of time,
As I love you from this day onwards,
I will love you beyond my final breath” Said Felix finally completing the poem without any problems

As Felix finally completed his task with such a beautiful poem, the studio echoed with the loud claps of the audience. This marked the end of the show and Felix was finally relieved that the hectic schedule had finally ended. The other participants had already left the set by now but Felix was running a bit late as his manager was nowhere to be found. But before he could search anywhere and do something, Chan finally came in front of him.

“Where have you been?” asked Felix

“I was just talking with some friends who were also here.” Replied chan

“Oh okay then. By the way, can you give me your phone, my battery died and now I can do nothing as I forgot to bring my power bank.” Said Felix

“Okay, take it. We will be going to have our lunch right now so go and sit in the car; I will be with you in a moment.” Said chan before handing over his phone to Felix after which Felix walked away to wait in the car
Soon enough Chan came back and started driving to the place where they both were supposed to have their lunch.

“Where are we going, hyung?” asked Felix not able to handle the hunger anymore as it had been quite some time since his last meal

“We will be arriving soon. There were a few restaurants along the way but today we are going to a fancy place, so just wait for a bit.” Said chan while keeping his eyes on the road

“Why are we going to a fancy restaurant when it’s just the two of us?”

“Oh sorry, I forgot to inform you. We will be having two other people join us for lunch today. They are my friends so you don’t have to worry.” Informed chan while parking the car in the restaurant’s parking lot

As they both got out of their car and made their way into the restaurant, they were welcomed with a fragrant smell of roses and cinnamon and that helped to soothe down Felix who was feeling a bit uneasy about having lunch with strangers. Felix then followed chan to a part of the restaurant which had private rooms and it didn’t take them long to find the one reserved for them.

As chan opened the door and went inside, Felix followed him but he was shocked when he saw the person sitting inside waiting for them. He was the one person that Felix didn’t want to see anymore but apparently, fate had different plans for them.

“What are you doing here, Hyunjin?”
