Hancock still remembers the very first time she met Luffy. It was one of those days when she felt alone and depressed.
She's crying in the back of the school building; it has been her hiding place whenever she feels like crying. She doesn't want to tell her friends anything about it; they wouldn't care or listen anyway. She would just end up hiding from everyone.
A boy with dark raven hair and wearing a grade school uniform approached her, with an unusual Strawhat on the back of his neck.
The first thing that came to her mind was, 'Why is a grade school student doing here in the high school building?
He stood before her and scanned her face.
"Ne, do you know where Ace and Sabo's classroom is?"
It's the first thing he's ever said to her. Ignoring the fact that she's crying and her face is wet from her tears.
