"Remind me again, why are we doing this?"

"Because we need to make more allies."

"No. I meant this." Jungkook was gesturing around, obviously speaking of the awkward atmosphere surrounding them.

"Because I am the victim, you're the one in charge of keeping the documents safe, Jimin is a cop and Taehyung is there to be a mediator between us and them." Y/N answered as she pulled out a pair of sunglasses from the glove compartment and put them on.

"I get that. But why do they have to come to Seoul with the same car? And on top of it stay at our place?" Jungkook was grumbling to himself, not very fond of the situation he was in.

Until that morning he didn't know about the extra baggage he'd be transporting to Seoul, thinking that they'd only meet there. He had also assumed that Jimin and his buddy would want some privacy and stay at the Kim's house over there.

But nope.

The surprise once he woke up that day was enough to make his mood plummet to the ground, but the girl tried to ease it somewhat. She too looked taken aback when the car that picked her up was already half full, the duo on the backseat eating casually.

They were now an hour away from Busan and the two men in the back had been passed out ever since they finished their breakfast. Jungkook was tempted to just turn on the radio and enjoy the peaceful ride, but decided on staying in silence.

"I don't know how the meeting tomorrow will go, but I do hope that Yoongi and his sister will come too. They are the only ones in that group who I'm able to hold a decent conversation with, without having the urge to shoot them."

"Yoonji will surely be there with her boyfriend, but for her brother I'm not sure. It was supposed to be just the eldest children, but Mr Park suggested to call everyone except the idiot duo.

That of course caused a stir and almost made the Kim cousins back out, not wanting their brothers being left out. Luckily for us Namjoon had decided to use his head and realized that leaving his brother home might actually save him from you accidentally castrating him."

"I don't know about them. I saw his cousin explode at the slightest insult towards his brother, and I really don't see him as a person who can be trusted with serious things."

"I have a bad feeling about all of this, about making it public. Even without most of the details it's still a very delicate topic, and they'll surely ask you many questions. I'm simply worried about one of them hitting a sore nerve and one of us reacting badly."

"Well that's why we've got the duo in the back. Jimin might struggle, but he can hold you back if needed. And you can hold me back when you see that I'm slipping, just so I don't burn everything to the ground."

Y/N shrugged and watched Jungkook let out a hearty laugh at the realistic approach to the whole thing.

"I saw you bring your neighbor repellent with you just in case." He remarked, having recognised the case of her by now signature weapon while she loaded her bag into the trunk.

"You know what I've been thinking about? We could go camping once the weather is warmer."

Jungkook arched his eyebrows, not understanding where this sudden suggestion came from. "Camping?"

"Yeah. There's more than enough space in the back once you put the seats down for both of us to comfortably sleep, so we wouldn't even need tents. Just pile some blankets and pillows and that's it."

The man nodded, liking the idea of it, but it did seem like something that would happen in the distant future. For now they were too busy with trying to come up with a plan and actually successfully realize it.

The apartment was the same as they left it months ago, only some dust layers showed that time had passed.

"Home, sweet home!" Jungkook exclaimed as he walked in first, letting his body crash on the sofa and sighing contently. Y/N followed with bags of groceries going straight for the kitchen and putting them away.

Jimin and Taehyung, who just woke up, were still standing at the door and sluggishly removing their shoes. Noticing the sprawled out male in the living room, one question popped up in their heads.

Where will they sleep?

"Kook, stop fooling around and bring the bags inside! We need to clean up a bit since there's dust everywhere, so the sooner we start the sooner we can rest."

Jungkook let out another groan and heard a snicker from behind, looking over to the two half asleep men with an intimidating glare. "What? Tired from the long ride?"

Taehyung was about to answer with a 'yes' when Jimin spoke up first, glancing around. "Where will we be sleeping? I know that this is now your and Y/N's place, so are we going to take the couch?"

"No need. You can have my room, as long as you're quiet and don't make noise at night. I don't take being sleep deprived very well, especially if it's because of my neighbors getting it on all night. Ask Kook if you don't believe me."

Y/N said reappearing from the kitchen and gesturing towards the room where the two men could stay. She could make out a faint blush on Jimin's face before he nodded and pulled his sleepy friend away.

"Why didn't you let them sleep here on the couch? Who knows what they'll do on your bed."

"And walk out on them in the morning or the middle of the night if I want to fetch water? Nope, not happening!"

The man nodded and carried their stuff over to his room, quickly accepting the fact that they too would be sharing a room. While he unpacked his bag and changed the covers to clean ones, the girl pulled out their vacuum cleaner and started cleaning the living room.

Working together the two had quickly finished vacuuming and wiping down the furniture in the kitchen, living room and Jungkook's bedroom.

Jimin and Taehyung had been quiet since they entered their shared room for the stay, probably having fallen back asleep.

"Should we order or cook?"

Y/N shrugged, continuing to stare at the movie they just started watching in the living room. "I kinda crave pizza though."

"Then pizza it is." The man quickly typed in their order and returned his attention to the screen, making himself comfortable on the sofa.

For the rest of the evening there hasn't been any sound from the room, nor did any of the two men exit it to grab food or water. Jungkook and Y/N didn't bother babying them, since Jimin knew his way around this place and would fetch the things they needed.

Feeling exhausted from the long day, both decided to call it a night shortly after their second movie. Y/N was sprawled out on the soft sheets while Jungkook took his time in the bathroom getting ready for bed.

"I think I'm actually starting to like this thing."

He emerged from the adjacent bathroom in his sleeping shorts, the black chest piece adorning his muscles full on display. Y/N lifted her head to look at him and shook her head slightly, not satisfied with her work.

"It's not good enough yet. I still need to practice some more with the semi permanent ink before going in with a needle. The lines look too sloppy and looking at this design I don't think it would suit you."

Jungkook touched the semi permanent drawing of an angel and a devil holding eachother sensually, the tips of their wings nearly resting on his shoulders. He liked this new stile Y/N was trying out which looks like a sketch done with a coal.

"Yeah, the two bodies do feel a bit too much for me personally, but seeing the way the wings look is actually really nice."

"Well maybe once I'm good enough I'll ink you a pair of wings on your pecs to represent your angelic heart." She smiled as she slipped under the covers following him, feeling her body relax as her head touched the soft pillow.

"I think I might actually take you up on it."

Jungkook smiled and turned to face her, pulling her closer to him so he could cuddle with her. It didn't take long for them to fall asleep, glad for the lack of noise from the other end of their apartment.
