I'm grown up now
Yeah, I'm older now
but if the scars and bruises
and the sorrow my heart oozes
have taught me one thing...
It's that life's worth living even if it feels like a sin.
It's a sin for everything good to be one day replaced with grief and hate.
It's a sin for all my hard work to cause my eyes to dim
and stop me from seeing that life could be a beautiful thing.
I'm grown up now.
I'm older now.
But who can say I can't be evergreen?
