Temi got up from her sitting position and stretched.

"I'm going to the court, Cynthia," Temi said. "You wanna join?"

"Nah," Cynthia lazily said. "I'm tired"

Temi chuckled as she got her headphones, sweater, phone and basketball.

"See you later" Temi said heading for the door.

"Remember you have to be back before 8pm" Cynthia reminded Temi.

Temi nodded as she left the hotel room.

She sighed as she dropped her basketball on the floor.

She bounced the ball on the floor and went over the various moves.

She smiled in content as she dumped the ball in the court.

She began to feel dizzy, but she just decided to ignore it.

She then decided to practice football because she needed it to boost their points.

She spent most of her time playing and watching basketball  that she started to forget all about football.

She chuckled as she pretended to dribble

She remembered that a game went on for ninety minutes.

She was remembering it all,and then she got bored so she decided to play basketball again.

Fifteen minutes later, she began to see two balls instead of one.

She began feeling dizzy

She forgot her water bottle in the hotel.

She began to gasp for air,and she reached in her pocket to get her inhaler, but then she remembered she didn't bring it.

She threw a stone in the air in frustration as she groaned.

She packed all her clothes, shoes but she forgot the one thing that could literally save her from dying.

She continued to pace as she thought of a way out.

She was scared of walking back to the hotel because she could probably pass out on the way.

Temi always carried her inhaler everywhere with her,but the last time she had an attack was when Neville took it from her bag.

And that was weeks ago.

But to be honest, this time, she totally forgot.

She was probably too excited.

She continued to gasp as she sat on the floor.

What if this happens when she's playing basketball during the competition

Fear came over her as tears slipped out of her eyes.

It was like her respiratory tract was closing up.

She laid down on the cold floor as she opened her mouth wide.

At this point, she had no control over herself again, and then she confirmed that she was having a legit attack.

Her chest ached like crazy, she began to cry.

Yes,she was actually crying

She cried as she slowly slipped out of consciousness.

Her eyes were still open, but she felt weak.

Very weak.

She continued to cry and gasp for air.

Her entire system was in so much pain

She widened her eyes as she saw a familiar lanky figure jog towards her.

He gave her the inhaler, and she shoved it in her mouth like her life depended on it.

Well,it did.

He sat on the floor next to her and drew circles on her back.

He held her hand, and she also looked at her hand.

It was pale.

She sighed as she tried to imagine what could have happened if he wasn't here.

Her whole body was still out of composure, but she also tried to assist herself in calming down.

She closed her eyes as more tears slipped out of them.

Her whole body was shaking, profusely.

And that was when she removed his hand from her back.

She stared at him with utter fury.

She moved away from him a little as she closed her eyes.

Her system began to calm down a little.

She used the inhaler one last time before deciding to talk.

"Thank you for the inhaler, but please," she sighed. "Don't touch me" she said as she clenched and unclenched her jaw.

Jamal stayed quiet as he stared at her.

She then remembered when she had an attack in front of him and he took her to his room.

She remembered when he asked her for her inhaler.

He took it everywhere with him.

Sometimes, when he saw Temi almost have an attack, he'd hold it in his hand.

Temi didn't even imagine in her wildest dream that he'd bring it on the trip.

"Temi," he said and she closed her eyes.

The way he said it......damn

It had been a long time since she heard her name from him

She gathered every ounce of meanness and faced him.

"What?" She snapped

"I know you're very mad at me,but please," he sighed. "Don't deprive me of talking to you"

"You already did that," she said and chuckled. "You deprived yourself of talking to me for no particular reason"

"I had a reason,Temi" he said

"I don't want to know that reason,Jamal," she said. "We're friends, and no matter what you're facing,I should be one of the first people you should discuss it with. You don't just go around shutting people off because you're facing something. That just sucks"

"I'm sorry" he said.

"Whatever," she said as she looked the other way.

"I have something to tell you" he whispered, and her chest tightened.

She remained quiet, making him sigh.

"I felt this new feeling,. Temi, you have no idea. It felt... utterly new to me,and I made the worst decision anyone could make," he said as she slowly faced him. "I stayed away from the girl that would do everything to help me"
