(not aroace related but appreciate all feedback) I need help deciding something!
So I went and got the mail since my mom said something was addressed to me. I'm sitting there about ready to leave for work and I'm like, 'cool, probably just from another college sending information on their campus and courses'. I get the mail and open my letter and I-
I don't know how to put into words how happy I am. It was an invitation to another medical program for the summer (NYLF Advanced Medicine & Health Care). I really want to attend (I would knock out two things at once- a campus tour of Johns Hopkins University that asked me to see their campus, and also the program itself complete with a surgery simulation).
The main problems are the tuition price which is around $4,200+ and also I would have to request days off from work which isn't really a big deal. I'm planning on talking with my teachers and emailing my guidance councilor about it and getting their opinions on it but I also want y'all's thoughts on if I should go.
If I do decide to go, which right now is very likely, then I'll probably try to raise some money. I'll most likely set up a gofundme and maybe sell lollipops at school and maybe around my apartment and possibly work if they'll allow it (doubt that though). If you have any ideas that'll help me raise some money so I don't have wipe my savings clean would be great!
