They talked for a minute about school and then he leaned in and whispered "so do you think Grace will like that idea I told you earlier?" Riley giggled. Then she said "no way. To corny. Come over to my house tomorrow after school. Maya's doing something with Mary and Grace so she won't bother us." "Really? You sure?" "It's the least I can do after you tutored me in math. I mean you are great. You will make that girl very happy. So meet me outside the school at 3:30 tomorrow." "ok great" he said as he left for class. Then Lucas came up and hugged Riley and said "now city girl, I hope you aren't cheating on me." He said this with a serious tone. "Of course not cowboy" she said with a giggle. He laughed too. But his was all fake.
